What did you guys think about this episode? Will definitely go down in my books as the most memorable, that's for sure...

Many people says it is weird for him to have included a scene like this one, while I actually believe he did it to show an uncomfortable reality that happens too often still nowadays. I doubt its an orangutan that does the SA irl, but SA is a real thing many girls and women face in their lives (infamously a lot of that stuff happens in Japan). I think it is admirable he tried to tackle this kind of heavy topic in an early 90s Japan, in a magazine targeted towards teenagers.

2025-09-12 02:46:44 +0000 UTCThe orangutan was a very interesting approach Araki took to show animals can have the "fighting spirit" and intelligence required to awaken a Stand. Despite its inhumane actions, it was a great foe, being able to neutralize all of the Crusaders at once. If it wasn't for its arrogance, it could've actually succeeded in killing them. I am so glad tho that Jotaro pulled off that trick, playing with that animal's instincts by pissing it off and treating it like the animal he is.
