Strongest in DxD - Chapter 6

Ren turned his attention to the dog's bark and saw a small black puppy that had red eyes and was looking at Ren with glee.

Ren smiles and ran his hand over the dog's head which barked in glee.

"Good boy Jin" said Ren smiling.

That dog was the Sacred Gear [Canis Lykaon].

This Longinus was a Sacred Gear of the Independent Avatar type and so it could manifest and act independently of its wearer's will so it manifested itself in the form of a black dog that Ren called Jin which means sword in Japanese.

"I think we should go to school," Ren said as he got up and went to his room and got ready for school.

Always followed by Jin.

Right after his daily meditation Ren had gone to school with Jin who was in his shadow, an ability of his.

The day went by normally with classes not being very interesting for Ren, although this is explained by the fact that he was a college student in his past life and so everything was boring.

During classes the demons tried to get closer to Ren but everything was unsuccessful due to him always distancing himself from the Devils.

Looking forward Ren saw something that caught his attention was two people who were talking.

He was an average height high school student with short spiky brown hair, two short strands behind his head, and light brown eyes.

It was Issei Hyoudou.

The person who was talking to Issei the most attracted the attention.

She was an attractive young woman with violet eyes and a slim figure. She had long, silky black hair down to her hips. Her attire was her school uniform, which consisted of a dark red jacket with the letter "P" embroidered in gold, a white t-shirt, a red bow, and a green skirt with a thin white sash at the bottom of it.

Ren recognized the energy coming out of her.

It was the energy of a Fallen Angel.

And that could only mean one thing.

The plot was starting.

And Ren's plans too.

Some time later.

"Finally" thought Ren as he saw the Fallen Angel flying away after killing Issei.

Ren had decided to follow the two as he was bored and also had to get there before Rias.

Ren can't help but be disappointed in this encounter.

Obviously he had already been to several, after all he was in a world of pure perversion.

Even from a distance he could sense Raynare/Yuuma's murderous intent against Issei.

Ren was even surprised that Issei didn't feel it because even some normal humans could be so willing to kill.

Seeing the Fallen Angel fly away Ren approaches the body of Issei who was on the verge of death.

Ren came close to Issei's body and placed his right hand on Issei's chest.

"[Steal]" said Ren as he activated his ability.

Just as the name says this skill allows its user to steal skills and items from their opponent, the same goes for Sacred Gears.

A small black aura appeared in Ren's hand and entered Issei's body, when she left it had a small red aura next to it.

This aura represented the [Boosted Gear].

When the aura left Issei's body it quickly entered Ren's body who sighed.

Looking at Issei he saw that the boy was still alive due to this ability not killing the person about the robbery, not even when it is a Sacred Gear.

Ren sighed as he felt Rias approach and using his [Darkness Manipulation] he was absorbed by the shadows and disappeared.

Some time later.

With Ren.

Shortly after taking the [Boosted Gear] from Issei, Ren returned to his home from the shadows.

This was a [Darkness Manipulation] ability that allowed him to move and teleport through the shadows.

Ren was lying on his bed as he stared at his left arm.

On his left hand he had a red gauntlet with green jewels and ten golden spikes, it looked like a Dragon's paw and covered all of Ren's hand and part of his arm.

It was the [Boosted Gear] or also known as the Red Dragon Emperor's Gauntlet where the soul of Ddraig, one of the Two Celestial Dragons resided, thus making this Sacred Gear one of the Thirteen Longinus.

-Rarity: Super Rare.

-Description: Boosted Gear, also known as the Red Dragon Emperor's Gauntlet, is a Sacred Gear listed as one of the thirteen Longinus, it has the spirit of the Welsh Dragon, Ddraig, residing in it.

-In the past, Ddraig fought against his archrival, the Vanishing Dragon, Albion, in a battle that was interrupted by the Angels, Demons and Fallen Angels who were at war during time. In anger, the two Dragons attacked the leaders of the Three Factions, which led to their bodies being destroyed and their souls being sealed in two separate Sacred Gear's, with Ddraig moving to the "Boosted Gear", a Sacred Gear that eventually became one of thirteen varieties of Longinus.

-Abilities: The Boosted Gear has the Boost ability which can double the user's power every 10 seconds, can strengthen the user's physical abilities, magic and power. With more changes in response to the user's feelings, the Boosted Gear can transform into the Boosted Gear Gift, which has the ability to transfer increased power to other people or objects. The transferred energy can run on several people / objects at the same time, however this decreases the efficiency and part of the energy will be lost in the transfer. This can also be used on a particular part of the user's body such as the eye for enhanced vision.

-Boost: Doubles user power. This call is announced every 10 seconds until the user reaches their physical limit. In Balance Breaker mode, this call is announced repeatedly until the user reaches its limit.

-Transfer: Transfers more power to other people or objects.

-Explosion: Releases the stored energy of the Boosted Gear for a short period of time.

-Restart: This ad is called after all the energy stored in the Boosted Gear during the explosion is drained. Once called, the user cannot use Boost again for a certain period of time, as long as their body is not near physical limits.

-Explosion: This ad is called when the Boosted Gear wearer reaches its physical limit. Once called; all of the user's increased powers are drained and the user takes damage due to overuse of their ability.

-Penetrate: this allows the user's attacks to hit, even through powerful defensive barriers.

-Blazing Inferno of Burning Flames: The ultimate flames that can incinerate anything and likely burn the soul, until nothing is left. Once lit, they never go out. Even gods will be turned to ashes in these flames. It was sealed by God in the Bible. It was just ineffective against Albion. However, Ddraig mentioned that it can also be ineffective against Great Red or Ophis.

Ren let out a sigh, marveling at the amount of skill.

Letting out a contented sigh, Ren lay back on his bed before closing his eyes to try and get some sleep. And for what seemed like an eternity, Ren found himself long enough in a strange dark void filled with flames. However, in the center of these flames, something strange appeared in front of Ren. It was a large western red dragon, with a long neck and green eyes. It also has red and gold tips all over its body.

It was Ddraig one of the Two Celestial Dragons the Red Dragon of Domination.
