2025-02-02 17:51:51 +0000 UTCYou know, it would be actually an interesting plot twist if in the end Ezra and Karen don't make up with each other. Yes, yes, I like the pairing, but everyone expect that they will in the end get along with each other, so this twist would be surprising. Not everyone needs to go well, and Misty is far from being a bad 'companion'. I just feel like Ezra right now is too paranoid/wary to answer Karen at the end in a completely honest way. Although, it could be sort of a character development if he actually starts opening up to some people, and be slightly more positive. I think it could go either way, as I think Karen is one of those very rare exceptions now that Ezra may spill some of his secrets. And for Brock - yeah, his father is an asshole, but honestly, with Ezra's support, hiring several nannies and some secretaries to help out Brock should make it far easier for the guy, so he isn't as pressured to raise his siblings, like he would be in a situation without a strong financial backup that Ezra can provide. The privilege of being rich/having someone with rich assistance. Seriously, I don't know why would he be left alone in raising siblings, when he clearly can receive strong support here as well. He doesn't need to do it alone. And you know what would be the nice final fuck you towards Flint? When Brock becomes so successful, rich and skilled properly as a trainer, that he laughs in the face of Flint, when he tries to return and tells him to fuck him like a deadbeat parent he is, while the kids refuse to talk with him. To make a point, crushes him in the Pokémon battle as well.

Honestly, Karen may just decide to go to the person that sees not just potential in her, but treats her decently. As for Flint? Fuck off with that tough love bullshit, we all know you are just going to up and leave the second the ink in that signature is dry, leaving Brock to be step up as a parent for all his siblings
