I figured I'd have to keep at least a minimal part of a gamer system like that or it wouldn't be gamer at all, it also gives a good reason for him to keep chasing quests as they're the only way outside leveling he'll ever get any stat points.

Just the absolute scream of pure rage that would draw out would be fun to write tbh.
