He'll be around for the gang, he's not going to be gone for years, and it's all a character progression thing where he's gonna have to realize what a slippery slope he's going down at some point, worm is a death world so gaining strength quickly is the only way someone like him could survive anyway, yes killing MM was stupid, but then again it's kind of what I do with my characters at times , because people do make stupid decisions and SI who always make right decisions are just annoyingly unrealistic. I appreciate your feedback, but he's neither going to go on a full murder hobo spree nor be gone for a year, he's dipping out while the heat is the worst, searching out two or three capes who'd give him enough power no one would mess with him easily, so he can return and set up in Brockton Bay while researching what power combinations might best work to either hide from scion/kill scion/ or preferably, leave the world before scion blows it up.

And reading sun hee's pov had me ready to sing you're praises even though I could see you killing MM still for bs reasons. Then we have the mc lay out the reasons why the kill would be stupid and he still does it anyway. I just threw my hands up very much annoyed. There's a difference between just being a bad guy with a moral code and being a scummy murder hobo. You had even tricked me with your authors note talking about how ppl were mad you didn't go full murder hobo with Jordan and how this wasn't a slaughter house 9 type fic. Which I don't know what that all the way means since I've only read a couple fics on worm( I've never read the series). You even further annoyed me with this chapter because wtf is Jordan doing he's supposed to be this guy from our earth who knows about how dangerous this world is and is trying to fix his sister, ether get her home to our earth or make a safe place for her. You had him do this whole thing about how the heroes and the villains are all just playing a game . Yet his actions with killing MM in my mind just makes him a super hypocrite. Why not go and kill the heal already for your sister if you know theirs already going to be a higher level of heat in the city going forward. That kill will make it incredibly more difficult to get that power because everyone is now going to have their heads on a swivel and if the hero side is anyway kinda competent they will have a higher level of hero stationed there. I saw a review on fanfic that said it seems you were looking for an excuse to have the mc leave and go on a traveling murder hobo spree I'm pretty sure they're right. Also why start a gang that he's not going to even be around to establish and get running? Any new capes that mai brings in won't respond or respect him since he's just popping up after all Mai's hard work setting them up. You said earlier in an authors note that Jordan will think it's his power that's leading him to be this hypocrite monster, but that's not the case. Idk what in story reason you're going to go with but IDC. Jordan's might not be a PDF and selling ppl but killing the ppl trying to do something to make the world better makes him just as bad if not worse then the monsters of this world especially given his knowledge of the world

2024-05-29 14:54:40 +0000 UTCI actually really liked the chapter. I think tattletale gets too much love from the community. Being able to summon weapons from fiction is ridiculously powerful. I’m sure magic things won’t work, but heavy weapons like the BFG, mini nukes, spartan lasers would be enough for most capes on earth bet. Do the portal and gravity gun count?
