Worth thinking about quality lifespan working with the Saint bath or whatever that he’s aiming to get from the Sect! Also if this is contributing the the formation of a root, it might be kinda wasted on Foxstep, which already has a root

2025-07-09 17:40:28 +0000 UTCGemstone Loupe is basically the improve-all-harvesting choice, and is a damned cool spell and any possible improvement/enhancement of its ingrained effect (improving mana regen of the gate it's housed in) would be worth oodles since hudau mana doesn't have an effevtive harvest spell Also, Elio shared it with Mal, with the understanding that there's almost no one in the world who can use it (hashtag JustTerminarchProblems). (Yes, it was technically in exchange for Mal conveying Elio's acension gift to Amethyst Mask, but that exchange honestly kinda feels like draconic pride/honor stuff plus Elio sincerely meaning to pass down some element of his magics) I kinda like choosing it for this (unknown) effect partly as a way of kinda honoring that? But it's *also* a smart choice

2025-07-09 14:57:04 +0000 UTCMal's got a lot of synergy-stacking on/around Foxstep already, and I think he's at a point in his build where he can afford to (and actively *should*) develop another big synergy stack, which heavily informs my choice here Note: Currently my vote is on Gemstone Loupe, but I am willing to pivot to any of Ghost Tether, Fungal Entwinement, or Reposition Anchor to push them over the top
