warm-ups and wips
Added 2024-04-25 20:57:52 +0000 UTCfirst 2 drawn from ref. lately ive been trying to practice volume and perspective in some of these, going back to fundamentals in drawing cubes to start out a head, but also trying to maintain that balance of volume and flatness/graphicness i like. also tried coloring with my oil brushes and i like the feel!
i know these aren't super exciting drawings, i realize i do a lot of studying and practicing when i sketch and i do have my fun on certain drawings that i plan out. but i figure i show some of the kinda not super glamorous drawings here as i enjoy seeing the same kind of work from others.
a goal of mine from doing all this prep work is to be able to whip up fun drawings mostly from imagination and some reference, but i think i need to let loose a little more. we'll figure it out
