Last image is the rough. i like to make a rough sketch first, then instead of inking over it, i just keep it as my reference on the side and i draw the final inks from just looking at my rough. it helps me stay looser and make changes on the fly. i noticed when i do line art, i just follow it really hard and it feels very rigid and stiff. so i tried to treat it how i treat looking at any reference when i draw.
