Big Apple change

Ok

So big and quick resume.
Apple decided that all payment to app on their appstore should be made via apple starting now
therefore they bullied patreon to change the way they do business

And because Patreon's owner are good dogs, they like usual, said yes to their big dommy company

That's the Big resume.
So the change it occurs

If you already are patreon.. Nothing.

No upcost, for what i understood, and no change in your payment dates. It ll remain the 1st of each months.
The change ll happen only if you are a new one, OR if you leave for a time and wanna come back

The change:

Starting November you'll be charged the day you enlist. If you came in a 29th you'll be charged each 29th.
That change 1, and it impact me mostly.

Change number 2, the one that proove patreon don't care about their users (ll explain later)

IF you go and enlist under Apple appstore, you'll be charged an extra 30% fee, only for the appstore.

SO

If you were using the appstore patreon App, Delete it, and reenlist via navigater. NEVER use the appstore ever again for patreon

My opinion on it:

It's bullshit.
Like 1st degree bullshit.
Being charged all the 1st in the month is a good way as an artist to have a stabble income and the ONLY goot part about patreon is that, having a stabble income.
It means each first of the month, i got my paychek.
Now it means that i'll have to go and take money to paypal at least 2 or 3 times a month, it means that i ll win less money.
How? Patreon charge us when we tuck money out, Each time. a % of the amount + a standard fee relative to the sum.
Mean they ll get a bit of this standard fee each time and yeah that piss me off, they know it, and im quite sure they like it
Second is paaypal is a bully company, and so each time i got a summ superior to one 0, you got to channel it to your bank cause if they close it, they keep it. So yeah, not gonna keep half a month worth of money for paypal to steal it, and they ALSO take a part at each transfer to your bank.
So for that, yeah it piss me off. Those company love to make money on out backs, and toss us at the first inconveniance. I know it, but i hate when they double down on it.

SECOND stuff

They don't car about users. If they had, they would have say "no" accept a net loss of money and remove their app from app store. They would to enforce that they won't accept a side company extra charging their users.
And they didn't, because they won't tank the loss
They don't care about you
They could have put a line in the sand , look like the "good guys company" shine a bit and certainly make, for once, creators say "hey looks patreon is the good guy company" and they rather not take a hit for their users. Typical

Now the usual "why not go on subscribstar?"
Cause i got one, first, yeah it's active in case patreon go down, there's even peoples in it.
Second, having two site to administer is a hassle.
Third, subs isn't better. They are like patreon but with more pedophiles and nazis, and sorry it don't make them Morally superior. They too prey artist money.
Don't be child, all those company don't care about creators well being, we are just walking talking paycheks for the suits

VOILA that was my rant about it, feels good to have it off.
