November Release II - Dial of Sun and Moon


Hi All and Happy New Year!!

It's been a while, but I am happy to be back. I am super glad that I decided to rein it in a bit for December. As suggested, it was a busy time with family and the holidays. Getting this one scene out was quite a task for me!

This scene is based around a central dial that, when aligned properly, will form symbols of Sun, Moon, Sunrise and Moonrise. Four rooms in the dungeon represent each of these symbols and can only be opened by using the dial and following the clues.   

Once all the rooms have been unlocked, a rotating floor will turn automatically to reveal a new passage for players to explore! This would be a great area to use as a link to the astral plane or the tomb of fallen paladin or even the hiding place for a lich's phelactory.

For Foundry users, the braziers and torches all light up, the dials turn, traps activate and provide the GM notification and magic runes glow. I've also tried to provide some different options to show at the end of the dungeon. 

I'll put up another poll soon (as soon as I've decided what I'm doing for the first release haha)!

Thanks for the feedback. I know I fixed something with the moon room like that, but can't remember if that was it or not haha. I'll have a look. I released a quick fix yesterday... do you know if your scene was from that, or the original release? and did the reset button fix it?

This is absolutely fantastic. I can't wait to throw this at my players. One quick thing I noticed: the scene ships with dsm-mrunenotworking deactivated and dsm-mruneworking activated. When players first enter the moon room, they can activate the rune immediately. I found the stacked tiles and was able to manually set them correctly, but just wanted to call it out in case that's a quick fix and update on your side. It could also be that the master reset button activates them in the opposite order, as I reset the scene a few times before getting to the moon room. Again, stellar work!
