June Release #2 - Verbane's Tower - a map, a puzzle all in one!

Hey Guys,

Our second release this month is Verbane's Tower (wizard tower). I think this turned out really well. Not only is the map pretty cool onto itself (containing a laboratories, scrying pools, teleportation rooms, astronomy labs and studies), the whole thing also functions as a puzzle!

The centre of the 2nd and 3rd floors of the Tower are meant to rotate in 90 degree increments. This will open and close different doors throughout the Tower depending on its orientation. This means the PCs will have to use their wits in order to reach the top - Verbane's private chambers. When the Tower is rotated in the correct way, it will allow access to four Crystal Keys (crystal orbs on pedestals). All four need to be activated by touch before the last door opens to allow access to the fourth floor.

The foundry setup allows for PC tokens to:

1. automatically attach to the Tower and rotate with it.

2. Activate the rotation themselves by touch the central blue orb

3. Activate the green Crystal Keys, which Activate lights, and unlock the last door once all have been activated.

Of course this is all detailed in the Journal Note for the Tower scene, along with the solution to the puzzle.

I'm thinking next I'll incorporate this Tower into a Shir Proper scene, so it can sit alongside the Church District and Castle Gates scene. Or maybe another random encounter map.... I'm thinking swamp this time. Thoughts?
