Veruca Vs. Scarlett

I've been having quite a bit of fun with these two pages. At first, I was going to have a simple page for each of the berry bodies shown in the pages above with some text littered around, but since reworking the earlier pages to include the characters from the films, I have decided to do more than the initial plan!

I think that having Veruca and Sacarlett argue/bicker adds a new dynamic to the original inflation sequence and it speaks to their selfish natures; they are focusing on themselves when Violet is becoming a giant blueberry right in front of them. I think that the catty dialogue is true to their characters as well.

Recasting the original child actors to be older counterparts is an obvious change that will be added. The recasting chosen in this image may not be the final decision, but I am always open to hearing who you think should play the likes of Veruca Salt and company.
