Why was this Omake delayed? BECAUSE IT'S HUGE!

Seriously, I had the Omake nearly complete at 3k words, but as I kept reading and making changes, I ended up rewriting almost everything and adding even more. I think it's around 10k words now; it's quite comprehensive, although in some parts I wanted to detail more but refrained to avoid spoilers.

Well, a few things before the Omake:

First thing: As must be common knowledge here, English is my third language and I struggle with some things, like certain verbs. Well, the 'we royal' that Luna uses is a complete pain to write (at least for me), so there might be some mistakes, sorry about that.

Second thing: This Omake originally happened before Winterhord, but due to changes, it now occurs afterward. How much afterward? Well, after RWBY.

Will there be spoilers for what happened after RWBY?!: No. Hence the lack of details in some parts.

Third thing: 'Anypony' and 'anyone'. In the Devas' POVs, it's clearly 'Anyone'; in Twilight's, 'Anypony'. If it's not written that way in her POV, it was my mistake, sorry about that.

Fourth thing: Devas is not familiar with MLP in this Omake.

Fifth thing: This Omake will be exclusive to Patreon unless it becomes canon. If it does, well, I'll post it elsewhere, but for now, it only exists here.

I think that's about it, so without further ado, here's the OMAKE!

POV: Devas Asura

"Full house, won again." I heard Stark's voice emanate from the cactus-shaped hologram. Why was he always a cactus?

We were playing poker, using the streaming game table, and by 'we' I mean more than just Stark and me.

Dumbledore, Kazuma, Ainz, Serafall, and Fukasaku were also participating, and I could only say I was at a disadvantage here, and the reason was simple: My title was turned off.

I found out it was one of the features of the game table. I could 'turn off' my title, letting 'luck' become something that actually worked in games, not just skill.

Spoiler: I shouldn't have done that.

Damn it, seriously. Whose dumb idea was it to do this at a table where Kazuma and Ainz existed?

"You're counting your win too early, Stark," Ainz commented with a slight smile before revealing his hand.

A freaking Royal Flush, his in hearts. And I say his because there was another one on the table.

"Don't even think about it, you bag of bones, you think you're taking this one like the last?" I didn't even blink when Kazuma did the same as Ainz, showing another Royal Flush, this time in spades.

I didn't even want to think about how rare this shit I was seeing was.

Ainz and Kazuma stared at each other for about two seconds before the former nodded calmly and the latter started laughing as the table pot was split evenly between them.

It was basically SP, well, when I won. When anyone else won, it became their world's currency automatically.

Pretty much everyone here was filthy rich or didn't care about money, except Kazuma of course, who seemed manic. I could practically see dollar signs in his eyes.

He was in debt again, wasn't he? Living with those three clowns he called teammates must be funny, well, at least for someone outside looking in from afar.

"There will never be poker on game Sundays again, just so you know." The moment the round ended, I instantly spoke.

'Game Sundays' was something I had recently started.

Basically, it was an 'event' on the stream that happened every first Sunday of the month, where I would pull some random game table and play with the viewers to pass the time. The games varied; this time it was poker.

Something that, if it depended on me, would never happen again, and if it did, my title would be on.

"You two are by far the luckiest people I've ever seen," Serafall commented from the chair beside me, her voice still containing a certain level of astonishment. "And I've met lucky gods before, I must say."

"DS! Roulette!" Stark didn't even seem affected by losing the round and pointed to the side.

Another dumb idea of mine.

There was a roulette on the game table. What did this roulette do? A few things, but basically it boiled down to rewards and punishments, this time it was the latter.

Every time I wasn't the one winning the table pot, I was obliged to roll the roulette. I ended up seeing that thing spin many times today.

"There will never be poker in this shit again..." I muttered as I stood up, walked over to the roulette, and spun it with a touch.

I watched the markers roll quickly as the roulette spun: Do a thousand tongue push-ups, sing a poem, dye your hair a color chosen by (CHAT), declare your love to someone at the table (must be with a romantic poem), and so on.

Let's just say I didn't choose these punishments. At least I managed to avoid the worst ones in my opinion, but I did find out I could actually do tongue push-ups.

Oh yeah, my hair was also dyed purple with pink streaks...

"If this shit lands on poem, I swear I'm going to kill someone..." Stark had the guts to laugh when he heard my murmur.

Too much guts in my opinion for someone who had a very flammable house...

[(CHAT) choose a mission for the Streamer!]

"Yes!" Stark shouted joyfully as the roulette stopped. "Not the poem, but still good!"

"Can he come to our worlds using this?" Serafall stood up excitedly and looked towards where she knew the stream camera was. "Vote for my world, I promise rewards to everyone who votes~."

I just massaged my forehead as chaos ensued and options appeared for (CHAT) to vote.

I couldn't see what worlds were in the options, but from the war happening in (CHAT), there were some good options there...

Minutes later, with many votes bought, Stark had managed to get the mission he wanted chosen, and a portal appeared next to the game table.

"Ladies first, DS!" Stark leaned in and pointed to the portal, his avatar smiling all the while.

"Avoid walking alone at night." That was my only comment before stepping into the portal.

Could I have ignored the portal and just canceled everything? Yes, but that would have taken the fun out of the game. I also trusted that Stark wouldn't send me to my death.

I felt space distort around me as I teleported. This sensation was familiar by now. Not even a second later, I appeared in another world.

"A forest?..." A dense forest at that, teeming with animals I could sense with my senses and see on the minimap.

A minimap that alerted me to the two red dots behind me, not that I needed it; I had sensed them since I arrived.

Five seconds later, two wolves jumped out of the bushes behind me. They weren't the strangest thing I'd seen, but wooden wolves were still curious.

"Golems? No... Treants?" I tilted my head. I could feel these two had a core, but it seemed natural like a heart, not artificially created.

The nature around also seemed strange; for some reason, the same went for the mana in the air. Mana was dense and existed everywhere... Was this world still in the age of gods?...

I raised my guard slightly as I waited for the two wooden wolves to attack me. They didn't seem dangerous at all, but given Stark's gleeful messages, maybe they'd turn me into a rabbit or something if they touched me.

I wasn't in any physical danger, but psychological? That I still had to figure out.

Interestingly, the two wolves literally froze the moment they saw me, not even the leaves falling from the branches that composed their bodies moved as they both stared in my direction.

As soon as our eyes met, the wolves simply collapsed into a pile of leaves, branches, and green slime.

"Alright?..." Did I scare them to death? That was a first. "Alright, where have I ended up?" I pulled the rest of the wolves into my inventory and started walking through the forest.

I halted my steps three seconds later when I saw the moon above me.

"Why do the craters on the moon look like a unicorn?..."

[…]

Could it be a coincidence that the craters on the moon were like that? Sure, it could...

"Ignoring the thing on the moon, where have I ended up?" I pulled up (CHAT) in front of me and looked at the camera.

...There's no way those moon craters were a coincidence!

[(MOD)GeniusBillionairePlayboy]: It's not a dangerous world... In parts. I'm researching about it right now, I'll let it be a surprise, just... Don't kill anyone, not even the princess, she's innocent, I promise. (Iron Man emoticon using a computer)

"I don't find your 'It's not a dangerous world' very credible when you immediately tell me not to kill anyone." Stark didn't reply to me. I sighed. "I'll try to avoid deaths, don't worry."

As I always sought to avoid, Stark knew that, so he must have had a reason for saying those words.

A princess who was innocent but for some reason would attack me?...

I resumed walking while thinking, focusing part of my attention on the 'Anti-Spoiler' mode enabled (CHAT) and another part on the forest around me, which, by the way, was infested with these wooden wolves.

Everyone who looked me in the eye exploded; those who didn't fled from me as if the devil were fleeing the cross.

Serafall didn't like the comparison, I did.

I ended up encountering a manticore while walking as well. Interestingly, the creature seemed to be fleeing from something, which was strange since manticores were, as far as I knew, predators of... well, everything.

When it saw me, it practically lost all color and passed out.

"Can I kill this?" I nudged the manticore with my foot. Manticores weren't exactly a symbol of kindness and joy, and I kinda wanted its materials.

The dozens of 'X' emotes in (CHAT) told me no. The manticore, apparently, was innocent and good in (CHAT)'s words.

I had my doubts, but I ended up leaving the unconscious animal alone after pulling it and tossing it aside next to a tree.

I walked for about thirty minutes, collected some plant samples, soil, and saw some other animals before things got serious.

The moon and the sun just swapped places.

There was no sunrise; it just flew pushing the moon and bam, it was noon.

"Isn't this dangerous?!" I shouted, pointing at the sky. Damn it, I didn't even know how much power it took to pull off that shit!

If even Stark, who was laughing his ass off every time an animal ran away from me, seemed apprehensive, things had gotten serious.

MAGNIFICENT!

I kept my senses on high alert. If something happened, I'd be armed to the teeth. If some real shit was going down, I'd be off this planet in a second.

Damn it, I'm not risking it and fighting whatever decided to make the Sun ignore physics and say, "Is it six in the morning? Time for me to go to work."

There was no way that was natural; something had moved the Sun, and I didn't want to know what or how, let alone who!

Less relaxed, I resumed walking, and curiously, after a few minutes, I found a dirt road.

"Civilization... Are they all dwarves?" I could clearly see wheel and hoof marks on the road. Tiny wheels and hooves? Yes, but still wheels and hooves.

I followed the road for a few minutes before stopping and looking up. Something was coming towards me. A flying carriage being pulled by, of all things, pegasi.

I left my weapons and armor to a thought as I prepared.

I didn't know who was in that carriage, but as far as I knew, pegasi were divine symbols. I couldn't sense divinity from anything there, but caution was never a bad thing.

It wasn't just me who saw the carriage; the carriage had seen me too, as it changed course and flew towards me, stopping a few meters away from me.

The pegasi were small, very, very small.

Seriously, when they landed on the ground, it was even more apparent. They were mini horses; they shouldn't have been more than four feet tall.

Ponies of all things! Did Stark send me to a damn cartoon by accident?!

The two pegasi tensed when they looked at me; I could see their white fur under the golden armor bristle and their muscles tense.

It seems my attempts to appear as non-threatening as possible had gone wrong.

Just when I thought they were going to attack me, the carriage door opened.

To my joy, aka disbelief, who stepped out of the carriage was another mini horse, a purple one with a horn. A unicorn, which for some reason, had hair identical to mine right now, purple with pink streaks.

They set me up, didn't they? Was this all some big prank? Damn, there's no way this could be a coincidence!

As my thoughts raced wildly, the purple unicorn stared at me.

First of all, she had a hell of a lot of magic inside her body. Five, maybe six times more magic than me. At least she wasn't divine.

Second, she was the second cutest thing I'd ever seen. Millia still won, but only just.

Third, she wasn't afraid of me. She wasn't tense or apprehensive; instead, she was curious. Her eyes practically sparkled as she stared at me.

The absence of fear could be confidence or arrogance; here, it could be both.

I took advantage of the time when it was clear I was being scrutinized to scrutinize the purple unicorn back.

The unicorn was even smaller than the pegasi, who I'll assume were guards by their attire, probably standing around four feet tall, with large expressive lilac eyes.

The creature's mane was purple with pink streaks, the one at the front being the largest of them all. I was sure this was a setup.

As for the unicorn's fur, it was also purple in color but lighter, lilac. From what I could see, the fur was neatly groomed, and even her eyelashes were done.

I'll assume the unicorn is a 'she'. I might be wrong, but until the mini horse in front of me introduces itself, I'll go with that.

I was so focused on the unicorn that I barely noticed the lizard on her back. It was small, about sixteen inches long, and purple too, with some green scales on its back.

It seemed tense around me too, but less so than the guards.

"He looks scary, are you sure you want to go talk to him?..." The dragon whispered in the unicorn's ear, who completely ignored it.

A baby dragon or wyvern, probably... I'm looking for an egg of one of those things for myself before leaving this world.

Fuck whether it was a 'Mini dragon' or a 'Mini wyvern', they'd still be a dragon or a wyvern!

"Um... can you understand me?" The purple unicorn took a step forward, ignoring the guards who seemed tense, apprehensive, and almost terrified of me. "Can you speak?"

Even her voice was cute; I think I'm going to get diabetes. The voice was feminine too, looks like I guessed right.

"Yes, I can understand you." I replied, causing the eyes of the four, three mini horses and a mini possible baby dragon, to widen in astonishment.

The unicorn, by the way, seemed ecstatic about this.

"You can speak!" The unicorn exclaimed before blushing in embarrassment.

How the color spread all over her fur, I had no idea. In fact, it was as if her fur had blushed too... Damn it, fuck it, it was magic's fault and let's leave it at that.

The unicorn raised her front hoof to her mouth and coughed twice.

"Sorry, I... I was surprised, I've never seen anything like you before, so I asked the guards to stop when I noticed you walking on the road."

I ignored how her joints weren't supposed to move like that and didn't interrupt her.

The unicorn continued, still looking embarrassed but less than before.

"Pleased to meet you, I'm Twilight Sparkle, apprentice to Princess Celestia." She curtsied, bowing her body gently forward. I wasn't well-versed in mini horse body language, but it seemed polite and noble.

Princess Celestia... Wasn't that the princess Stark told me not to kill?

Twilight Sparkle. If it were before I came to Remnant, I would find the name strange... Well, I still found it a bit strange, but I'd heard weirder.

Stark chose this moment to send a message in the (CHAT). In fact, many people were sending messages with the same information.

[(MOD)GeniusBillionairePlayboy]: She's a pony, not a horse, maybe it's offensive to call her a horse, I'm looking here on the internet. And... avoid smiling, showing your fangs may not be a good idea. (Iron Man emoticon researching on computer)

Ponies... Okay, I already guessed. They were herbivorous animals, right? Showing that I had fangs, that I ate meat, didn't seem like a good idea.

The guards were already as tense as stones; it was better not to make things worse, especially since Twilight seemed friendly and, for some reason, wasn't afraid of me.

"If it's not rude, may I ask what you are?" She asked, her words practically dripping with curiosity. It was as if I were the mythical being here, not her.

Given that I was the alien, maybe that was correct... Just maybe...

Now... how do I answer? Was she some kind of royalty? She said she was an apprentice to a princess, Celestia, and acted in a noble manner too, not to mention the guards and the literal carriage made of gold...

As I thought, I noticed the guards slowly moving in front of Twilight, positioning themselves between me and her. The 'maybe a dragon' on her back was also signaling for her to get back into the carriage.

Twilight ignored the three of them as she focused on me, mainly on my eyes and hair. The first I had no idea why and the second was obvious.

"My name is Devas, pleased to meet you, Twilight Sparkle." I bowed my body, a bow, just like she had done. "As for your question, I'm human."

I tried to be friendly and gave a slight smile without showing my teeth. If things get worse from here, they can't say I didn't try.

Even with my polite introduction, the guards didn't seem to relax at all, the 'maybe a dragon' did, but only a little.

Twilight, by far, had the biggest reaction to my words.

"Eep!" She seemed to physically contain herself from jumping at me.

Again. Where the hell did I end up?!

[…]

POV: Twilight Sparkle

"Did you come from far away? Does your species always wear clothes? What do you eat? Why are you so tall?" Maybe I was asking too many questions too quickly. "Your hair, has it always been that color?!"

That thought crossed my mind before being crushed as I spun around the human, Devas, and noticed even more things about him, continuing my questions.

I didn't understand why the palace guards and Spike were so uneasy around him. Devas didn't seem more dangerous than any pony.

Was it because of his muscles? I could see them even under all the clothes he wore. Maybe that intimidated the guards? Or was it his enormous height? He was taller than Princess Celestia!

Even the shadow he cast was huge! I could hide behind him and not be touched by Princess Celestia's sun if I did that!

I blinked and closed my eyes for a second as the sun shone in my eyes. Devas had taken a step away from me.

"Let's slow down a bit. How about one question at a time?" I swear I heard him mutter something about a Ruby and another pony whose name I couldn't quite hear.

Devas glanced at the guards who tensed up and then at Spike. My best assistant seemed to understand the human's glance and nodded to him.

"It's always been like this..." Spike sighed, looking tired.

What were they talking about? ... Well, never mind!

"First, height." I pointed at him with my hoof. "Are all of your kind this tall?" I had to control the volume of my voice; I was getting too excited.

But I had reason! Devas was from a species I'd never heard of! I knew about all (almost all) Equus species, and few resembled Devas.

The minotaurs, from what I could see, were the closest (monkeys too, but I found it rude to think about that, so I pushed the thought away). The height was almost the same, but the front hooves were different.

Hands! My brain screamed.

But the hands were different. Minotaurs had only four fingers, while Devas had five. He, Devas, also didn't have claws at the tips of his fingers, but something smaller and seemingly more fragile.

The same with the hooves. Devas didn't have hooves, or if he did, they were very different from what I was used to. He wore something there too, for some reason!

Protection? Maybe... Maybe his hooves were fragile? That would explain it!

Was that why he wore so many clothes too? He looked strong, so it wouldn't be just for protection... Because of the cold? I couldn't see any fur on him other than what he had on his head and eyebrows...

"Will she come back on her own, or do I need to do something?"

"She usually comes back after a few minutes. But there's a technique to make her return to Equus earlier." I heard Spike reply to Devas. Why did they seem so far away? "Watch and learn, big guy... Twilight! Princess Celestia is behind you!"

"The princess!" I turned with a start. "Sorry, Princess Celestia, I didn't... See you..." There was no one there. I turned to Spike; he seemed proud.

"See, it always works. Learn from the master." He gave two pats on Devas's left leg, who nodded to him.

"Thank you for the teachings, wise dragon." Devas didn't hesitate to thank him before the two started laughing.

"I'm Spike. As you already know, I'm a dragon and Twilight's best assistant." My best assistant extended his claws to Devas.

"I'm Devas. Human. Pleasure to meet you, Spike." Devas bent down and shook Spike's claws with his hand in a grip.

Two, no, three things.

First: They got along very well for some reason. That was good; Spike needed more friends; he seemed lonely in Canterlot.

Hypocrite... A small voice whispered in the back of my mind. I completely ignored the voice.

Second: Devas was an omnivore. When he laughed, I could see a flash of his teeth. They were very white and well cared for, but also sharp, at least the front ones.

Canines were more common in carnivores, but I had seen his molars too, so the only answer was that his species, humans, were omnivores.

Maybe that's why the guards were scared? Herbivores were more common in Canterlot; the few that weren't were foreigners from other kingdoms and dignitaries, like griffons.

Hmm... Maybe that's why Spike got along so well with him? Dragons were mostly omnivores, able to eat plants, meat (only fish! I let Spike try it once; he didn't like it), and gemstones.

Spike loved those last ones. He was getting chubby, actually...

"Don't say the princess is behind me. I know she's not, Spike." Spike wilted when I spoke before the words could leave his mouth.

I blushed a little, embarrassed, as I turned to Devas.

"Sorry, sometimes I get lost in my thoughts." I scratched my neck with a hoof. "Could you repeat your answer, please?"

I didn't know if he had answered my question earlier; I wasn't paying attention... With this question, I wouldn't seem weird!

If Devas noticed my little plan, he didn't comment and simply replied.

"No, not all of my kind are this tall. Height varies quite a bit, actually." Devas glanced at the guards, who seemed more relaxed after seeing me interact with the human, and then back at me. "Some humans are shorter, others taller. It varies widely from person to person and by gender."

Just like ponies, then...

"Are females shorter?" I asked. He seemed to have compared me with the guards earlier.

"Mostly, yes. Women are shorter than men." Devas paused before continuing, gesturing towards the carriage. "Weren't you supposed to go somewhere?"

Was I?... I WAS! SUMMER SOLSTICE!

"How far are we from Ponyville?" I quickly asked the guards.

"Ponyville?" Devas murmured as the guard answered me.

"We're still a few miles away, Twilight Sparkle." The guard who responded glanced sideways at Devas. "You said you wanted to arrive early. We need to hurry if that's the case."

He wanted to get away from Devas; that was clear... Why were they being so cowardly?

"I..." I hesitated. I wanted to talk more (learn more!), but I had to help with the Summer Solstice, get everything ready for Princess Celestia.

I needed to research the mare in the moon too. The dates aligned; if anything were to happen, it would be today or at the latest tomorrow... Buck! I wouldn't be able to chat, would I...

Devas was too big for the carriage as well; I couldn't make him walk miles just to satisfy my curiosity...

"Devas, I'm running late..." Will he think I don't want to talk to him because he's from another species?! "It's not that I don't want to chat, it's just that I have to go do some things. Do you have a way I can contact you?"

I spoke quickly, continuing.

"Canterlot! Could you send a letter to the palace saying you met me, so I'll know it's you, just write 'human' and I'll know!" That way, I could talk to him later!

Nice move, Twilight!

I could barely contain myself from doing a little dance. I was late and didn't want to seem weird.

"Canterlot?" Devas murmured before sighing. "Alright, Twilight, of all people, I know what it's like to be busy, don't worry. I'll send a letter later."

"That's it!" I put a hoof to my mouth and coughed. "I mean, okay. I'll wait for your letter, don't forget!"

I waved to the man as he grew smaller as the carriage rose back into the sky.

Man and woman, that's how he had called the stallions and mares of his species, right? How curious...

"You made a friend even before arriving in Ponyville. It seems the princess was right, going out was good for you, Twilight." Spike nudged me with his claw.

"Friend, who?" Devas? No, I don't think we're friends. "Exchanging a few words with a pony doesn't mean we're friends, Spike." Okay, Devas wasn't a pony, but the principle was the same.

I had only exchanged a few words with the man and embarrassed myself several times while doing so...

"But you seemed to get along well with him, Spike. Didn't you say he seemed scary before?" I asked, nudging him back.

Spike didn't hesitate to grab my leg in fear of falling. No matter how many times I said that the palace carriages were enchanted to prevent falls, he was always afraid when we used one.

"He is scary, that hasn't changed, but he seemed nice." Spike replied. "I didn't know you were so brave, Twilight. You didn't even hesitate to approach him."

"I didn't know you were so scared." I looked at the guards, who shrank under my gaze. "Devas was from a different species, that's all. He didn't seem mean, and throughout our conversation, he acted like a complete gentleman."

"True, but... You know that day at the palace, where that noble griffon kept shouting that he wanted meat for dinner?" Spike commented.

"You're not comparing Devas to that rude noble, are you?" Devas might be omnivorous, but he never behaved unpleasantly like that griffon.

I still remembered that day. That griffon insisted on wanting to eat meat, but the castle was out of fish at that time, and even after warning the griffon, he still insisted on wanting meat.

He even threatened one of the maids, saying that if she couldn't serve meat to him, she could very well become the main course that day...

I frowned just remembering. Rude and uncouth as well.

Princess Celestia didn't like what that griffon was insinuating at all... I've never seen her so angry in my life...

"I have to disagree with you; Devas behaved very politely. He seemed quite nice after talking to him," Spike denied my accusation and continued. "I'm comparing him to Princess Celestia..."

"Wait, what?" I turned to my best assistant. "Comparing him to the princess?"

Spike nodded. I could see the guards' ears perk up as they also paid attention to the conversation.

"Yes. He seemed to have..." Spike scratched his chin with his claw. "How can I explain? Devas seemed to have an aura very similar to the princess on that day."

"The same princess who melted part of the castle floor just with the anger she was feeling?" I asked, somewhat incredulously. Did Devas appear like that to Spike?

Why didn't I feel anything?...

"Yeah, it was as if he too was like the princess." Spike pointed upwards, towards the sun. "Does he have a Cutie Mark like hers? Something involving the sun?"

"It's possible, now that you mention it..." Did humans have Cutie Marks? I couldn't see any on him, but then again, Devas wore a lot of clothes, so I couldn't see much of his skin.

"I'll ask him later..." I murmured. For now, I needed to focus on Ponyville. If I kept thinking about the man, I probably wouldn't stop...

I didn't even have many answers!

[...]

POV: Devas Asura

"This might be the strangest world I've ever been in..." I murmured, watching the carriage drift away. "Twilight had a tattoo on her flank, didn't she?"

I had avoided looking anywhere except at her face since, well, no one there besides me wore clothes. The guards wore armor, but that didn't cover much either.

I didn't want to accidentally see something I shouldn't; that would be weird. She was a pony, after all, but I did notice it when she climbed into the carriage.

Luckily, just the tattoo and nothing more. Whatever was down there, Twilight covered it with her tail.

"But seriously, Ponyville and Canterlot?..." Damn, the first name was just strange. It wasn't even that much actually, but Canterlot? What kind of strange Camelot parody did this world have?...

Was Princess Celestia the King Arthur of this world? Was it FATE all over again?...

[(MOD)GeniusBillionairePlayboy]: $100 says the princess was the one who made the sun move weirdly.

"Do I have 'idiot' written on my forehead or something?" I sighed. Stark thought I was stupid? He himself said he was researching this world on the internet.

Damn... If this world's King Arthur had that power, I really didn't want to know what this world's Merlin or Morgan could do...

I shook my head and pushed those thoughts aside. I'll just stay away from that city while I'm in this world. I can send the letter I promised to Twilight without setting foot there and be fine.

"Let's gather some more herbs and find a place where I can send a letter before disappearing from this world." I had three days in this world, but I could leave at any time if I wanted.

It did cross my mind to go to the city where Twilight was, Ponyville, but I thought better of it. The chances of everyone there panicking at my presence were high.

Twilight seemed like an exception, not the norm. It was better not to risk it. I wondered why the purple pony didn't seem bothered like everyone else...

[(MOD)GeniusBillionairePlayboy]: This world is really more colorful. Is it because it's a children's cartoon? The more color, the more happiness, right?

"So I really am in a damn cartoon..." Damn it, Stark. "It's the mana in the air; this world is literally more alive, healthier, everything is more colorful because of it."

[(MOD)GeniusBillionairePlayboy]: I hadn't thought of that. Well, I guess it makes sense. Are you going to look for a city or wander in the forest? Things should turn out fine even if you don't help.

"I'll stay in the forest. I don't want to cause a panic wave unintentionally..." I sighed and started moving again.

I spent the next few hours wandering randomly through the forest, or forests in this case, since I noticed a difference between the forest where I appeared and the others.

The forest where I appeared was a real forest, alive and functioning normally, even if the animals within it were strange. The other forests around weren't.

The mana in the air seemed different, more contained and ordered, almost artificially. The forest where I appeared wasn't like that; the mana was chaotic, the ordered chaos that existed in all the worlds I've been to.

If the forest where I appeared breathed and lived on its own, the others were alive only because of the devices that sustained them. What these devices were, I still didn't know.

It was when dusk was approaching, I knew only from the stream clock, since the sun was still high in the sky, that things changed.

It was like a punch in the face, it came out of nowhere, the impact almost made me step back.

A huge aura appeared on the horizon, in the direction Twilight had gone. It was something dark, cruel, and I would say almost rotten. I didn't care about any of these adjectives, I didn't care how much mana that thing had, maybe double, maybe triple Twilight's.

No... None of that mattered to me, none of that... Only one thing mattered.

"A god..." I growled. All my instincts activated, my armor appeared on my body, my weapons in my hands... "A god..."

My Semblance activated on its own, the Divine Anathema activated on its own, my Aura shone purple, the Shadowflame reacting to my emotions and instincts.

Evil, demon, traitor...

All three were adjectives that thing could use. My breath accelerated on its own, the Sun Breathing spinning through my body with anger.

Envy, greed...

Two feelings that flowed from that being in abundance. My shadow moved erratically, its eyes opening and closing uncontrollably.

Moon...

The moon was without its craters, its presence covered all surroundings, illuminating the world in a way much colder and crueler than the sun.

"A moon god..."

I noticed Stark's message out of the corner of my eye. It was the same as before: "The princess is innocent, don't kill her!"

I didn't know if he was right, but I really hoped so and clung to an emotion leaking in waves from that being...

Loneliness...

I hesitated to move for a moment. Should I go there? Interrupt whatever was going to happen? I didn't know anyone in this world; letting things take their course was best for everyone...

Just return to Terraria and let fate take care of everything; things would sort themselves out. Stark had said, it's a children's cartoon, everything would turn out fine...

The unicorn and the dragon were purple...

...Just like the color of the forest around me as I ran towards the moon that had descended into the world.

The excuse was weak, but I didn't care.

It was time for me to fight a god anyway.

POV: Twilight Sparkle

Ponyville was a confusing town; its inhabitants were by far some of the strangest ponies I had ever seen. But I'll admit, they were nice.

"You're not going to hurt them," I growled, getting up. The Elements hadn't worked, so I needed to fight.

Fight against Nightmare Moon. A pony who, in her own words, had imprisoned Princess Celestia in the sun.

My legs trembled, I felt something dripping down my face, probably blood, maybe tears. I was scared, and I knew it.

The mare in front of me had defeated the princess, how could I win?...

I took a step forward and raised a barrier, triangular this time, redirecting the spell that was cast towards me to the sides instead of blocking it head-on.

Live and learn, five mares fainting around me and several injuries on my body were enough to know that facing an Alicorn head-on was not a good idea.

"You are strong, Celestia's apprentice." Nightmare Moon didn't continue attacking and slowly walked around the room in the old castle where we were. "The mares around you are strong too. Tell us, is it worth dying for this?"

I growled and didn't reply, focusing. I couldn't let my guard down.

If Nightmare Moon cared about my lack of response, she didn't comment and just kept talking.

"Why don't you join us? It would be a shame for talents like you six to die for nothing." She stopped her steps when she reached the broken Elements on the other side of the room. "Talents need to be nurtured, not suffocated. What's your answer, Twilight Sparkle?"

We will never betray the princess. That's what I wanted to shout, scream and attack her again.

But the five around me prevented me from doing so. They had trusted me, followed me here, and fought by my side. Did I have the right to decide this?...

Spike, my best assistant, was in Ponyville helping everyone evacuate the town. After me, after us six, would she go after him?...

"Are you going to let your friends die, Twilight?..." The mare's voice echoed through the room. Why did the shadows have to be so dark?... "You're alone, do you really think you can defeat us?"

No... I didn't think I could...

Before I could respond, another voice echoed through the room, just as Nightmare Moon's voice echoed, but in a warm way, like the sun rays that had disappeared since the mare on the moon returned.

If I didn't recognize the voice, I would have thought it was Princess Celestia. The warmth emanating from that voice was the same, as gentle, as protective.

"She's not alone, goddess..." The window beside shattered, the sun entering angrily. "But you are..."

It seems Spike was right, Devas' fury was identical to the princess's...

Nightmare Moon widened her eyes in front of me; it was the only thing she could do before being thrown out of the castle, dragged away by Devas.

Spike had said that Devas was my friend. I had denied it before, but it seems he was right again...

Because, just like the five around me, Devas had come to help me, to save me... Without me even needing to ask.

I bit my tongue to stay conscious. I needed to get everyone out of here; this castle was old and could collapse any second.

"Boom!" "Boom!" "Boom!"

...I needed to go back to help Devas too because there was no way I would let him fight that mare alone.

That's not what a friend would do, and it's not what I will do!

[...]

POV: Devas Asura

Something was watching me, I was sure of it, just didn't know what. It was a gaze coming from above, another god? I pulled my title to its fullest and the gaze disappeared.

Fuck it, I decide who watches me or not.

I turned to the goddess in front of me when I was certain my observer had vanished and returned to the fight.

I didn't know what the mare in front of me was, how do I call a unicorn with wings? Or was it a horned pegasus? Well, it didn't matter, other things did...

I burned the magic coming from my right with Shadowflame, weakening it, and kicked it upwards before spinning my body and stomping on the magic coming from my left.

...Like the fact that the goddess in front of me was weak as fuck.

I could sense it the moment I got close, it was as if she were sick, anemic, her magic was faulty and weak, sparse, not in quantity but in quality.

If the goddess's magic were compressed next to Twilight's, the unicorn would have more. Twilight probably lost the fight due to lack of experience, because one thing I had to admit: this damn horse knew how to fight.

The amount of magic flying towards me was immense, from all sides and angles, not to mention this shit could teleport too.

'Sun Breathing (Devas Style) - First Form: Solar Flare.'

I kicked the ground and appeared inches from the right side of the mare and punched, using my fist as a weapon.

Stark had told me not to kill her and I understood why. There were two beings inside that body, one malevolent and the other not; the latter cried in the background, powerless to do anything.

It was confusing to understand what was happening inside. The little I knew was thanks to the Divine Anathema shouting the goddess's weaknesses at me, but from what I could gather, the two beings were one and the same, only the malevolent one had taken possession.

Two sides of the same coin; the only difference was that one side had suppressed the other and split apart so much it was almost another being.

It was confusing, gods were confusing. I wasn't even sure how she fragmented her mind to the point where an alter ego took over her body.

My fist collided with the mare without her being able to react. I aimed at the armor, which, from what I had learned in this short fight, was damn resilient.

The metal barely dented even with my fist coated with my Aura, Semblance, and Shadowflame. The mystery in that thing was ridiculous.

"Dreams and nightmares..." I murmured. "Your armor is literally a dream given form."

It was as if the mare was pulling that armor from her mind, literally bringing a dream to life. It reminded me a lot of something and I didn't like that information one bit.

It would be much easier if I could use everything I had. Frankly, I would have killed this goddess already if I could.

She was skilled, had more mana than me, even weakened, but she was slow... And fragile. Much more fragile than I expected, given that when she collided with the trees around us, her cry of pain echoed through the forest.

With the Bone Helm and the Ice Blade, I could have focused everything in a single strike. The mare would have died the moment I touched her for the first time.

"What are you, monster!?" The mare shouted, or rather, spoke normally. For some reason, that's how she only spoke. The only time her voice was low was when she spoke with Twilight. "You reek of my sister's Sun, are you one of her guards?! If so, you've done your job very poorly!"

Sister? Probably Celestia. Great, this world's version of Morgan.

"Do I look like a guard?" I gestured to my attire without attacking. I was wearing the Remnant of Deerclops. I looked more like a tribal snow leader than anything else.

"No, but I recognize a warrior when I see one. You reek of death, I see shadows in you too. Why don't you use them?!" The goddess spat blood and stood up, flying into the sky. "Did my sister make you do all her dirty work?..."

"I don't serve your sister, goddess. I arrived here less than a day ago. I only know two people here." I replied. She had keen eyes; I almost wanted to show her what I had, but it was better to keep them hidden.

My Nightmares were mine. If she wanted to see them, she would have to force me, but she was too weak to do so.

"Two beings? The purple unicorn is one of them, I suppose. Is that why you fight? For her?" The goddess didn't attack, but she floated in the air, casually flapping her wings. "Friendship or love? I'll admit I was never the best at discerning such trivial matters."

She wanted to talk, why? To delay? Her magic was growing stronger every second, but it was little; she would need years if she truly wanted to heal.

Buying time for an ally? I don't think she has one...

"Maybe friendship. I'm not sure if she considers me a friend. Frankly, Twilight and I exchanged few words." I shrugged.

I also wanted to delay a bit. The longer she focused on me, the more time Twilight had to do whatever she was doing with the other five ponies.

Whether it was to escape or come help me, I didn't know. Frankly, I hoped it was the latter; their presence would hinder me, but either way, buying time here was good.

"But still, you fight to protect her. Tell me, what are you? I've never seen one of your kind before. Did your race emerge in the thousand years of my imprisonment?!"

A thousand years? On the moon, probably. That explained the weakness. It also explained her speech; she spoke like a person from another era, like hearing Shakespeare's plays.

"My race is older. I'm human. And you, goddess, what are you, a unicorn, a pegasus?" I asked. "I'm getting tired of making up names to call you in my mind."

"I am an Alicorn, mortal. Nightmare Moon is our name, you would do well to remember it." She looked at me with her head tilted. "Tell us yours, and I shall grant you that honor. A warrior of your caliber deserves it."

"Devas." I simply replied.

"No surname? Curious. Tell us then, human Devas, why do you fight against us?!" She floated down to the ground. Far from me, but closer than in the air.

The barrier around her said everything I needed to know.

"I won't be cruel to my own. I'll make the same offer I made to Twilight. Serve us, and I shall treat you with our best, even spare the ponies you desire."

"Tempting, but no. I don't usually make deals with gods." I didn't hesitate to respond. "And you, what do you want with all this?"

"Our night will not be denied again, diminished as before, subjugated to my sister's day!" Her anger in her voice was undeniable. Jealousy of her sister? How many more boxes is she going to check before saying she hates someone named Merlin?

"And what is your plan?" I looked at the moon. To bring eternal night?"

Curiously, I could see her cheeks gain a slight blush from my words. I had hit right on what her 'grand plan' was, hadn't I?

"Life does not survive without the Sun. Mana can help, but billions will die." I didn't know how many existed in this world, but if it was like Earth, trillions would die.

Not just people, or in this case, ponies, but also animals, flora, and fauna.

"Our moon nurtures as much as my sister's Sun. Colder, but just as beautiful!"

"The world will freeze." I pointed out. She didn't deny it.

"Perhaps some parts, but not those we will personally care for. As for the lives lost, those who do not adapt to our night were never worthy of it in the first place!"

The barrier around the goddess shattered, breaking into pieces from my punch, devoured by my Semblance and burned by my flames, whether from the Sun or from hell.

I grabbed her neck with my hand and lifted her to my eyes. She was the tallest pony I had seen, being one meter sixty, maybe one meter seventy, which was still much shorter than me.

"What stops me from breaking your neck, goddess?" My voice was acidic.

"Nothing, but you won't." Her smile was amused. "You've been holding back since the beginning of the fight, we can tell. I don't know how something like you was born, but aside from the Lord of Chaos and my sister, you are the strongest being we've ever seen in our life."

She laughed. It was hoarse and partially muffled by my hand holding her neck. She didn't even try to attack me for some reason.

"Even at our peak, we're not sure if we could win against you without injuries."

"Just injuries? Do you think you'd win?" I asked neutrally. "Arrogance or pride?"

"Both. I'm proud of our strength, arrogant in our power. We are strong, or at least we were. We are currently a hollow shell of a glorious peak. In our prime, only one was our equal!"

"Your sister, I imagine." She nodded to the side, making her horn pass inches from my cheek. "Are you sure? Something tells me Celestia is the sister of the being you shackle."

Nightmare Moon frowned and growled. She barely seemed to contain herself from attacking me.

"We are Nightmare Moon as much as we are Luna. Two pieces of a whole, two phases of the moon, but of the same moon. Celestia is as much our sister as she is Luna's!"

For some reason, she seemed protective about that. Did she not hate her sister?

Curiously, her next words were in a normal tone. Still as regal and ancient as all the others, but lower.

"You won't kill us, we know that, and if you're not going to imprison us, as it seems you don't want to, how about a deal?" She laughed and moved her tongue, which looked like a snake's, to lick my hand. "A queen needs a king, and unlike my sister, we always prefer our strong stallions~"

For a second, I swear my brain shut off. I even looked at the description of Sun Breathing. Wasn't everything involving moon, evil, and night supposed to hate me?

What the hell was this?!

Was she blushing too?! Damn, a masochistic goddess, is that it?! Fuck it, officially everything has happened to me.

I'm being flirted with by a pony!

"Before I answer that, I need to ask one thing." I looked at the mare I held before turning to the castle. "Are you done there, Twilight?!"

"Wait, what?" Nightmare Moon asked confusedly. I ignored her.

"YES! ALL SET HERE!" Twilight shouted. I could see her determined face even at that distance. She, like the other five multicolored ponies, was floating in the air, a rainbow glow surrounding them.

So that's what she had in mind? Not to run away, but to help me with a rainbow cannon? The thing emanated enough magic to make all the hair on my body stand on end, but for some reason, it didn't.

"As they woke up... That purple mare! She broke our sleep spell!" Nightmare Moon shouted, trying to free herself from my grip for the first time. I pulled her into a hug and covered us both with Shadowflame, devouring her magic both with the flames and my Semblance.

"Let go of me! If that hits us, we'll be turned into stone or worse!" The mare shouted, trying to impale me with her horn to no avail.

"Meh, I'll take my chances." I chuckled when I saw her incredulous look.

"And you know, I don't think that'll affect me. You, on the other hand, but me?... My instincts tell me nothing." I leaned my mouth close to her ear. "And yours?"

She didn't answer me, it wasn't necessary. I already knew the answer.

"Goodnight, Nightmare Moon, and for all that matters, I wish you sweet dreams." Those were my last words to the mare before both of us were completely covered by the colors of the rainbow.

POV: Twilight Sparkle

"Is it over, then?" Rarity asked. "And your friend, Twilight, is he alright?"

"Yes, he is. Magic is based on intention, the elements in harmony are the same, it's still magic, and if there's one thing I have confidence in, it's my magic."

I was the focus of the elements, I was the Element of Magic, and they would never harm Devas as long as I commanded them.

My words were confirmed when the rainbow glow vanished, showing Devas unharmed, holding a dark blue cloth, while Nightmare Moon was nowhere to be seen.

I sighed in relief nonetheless. He was safe...

"Are we back in full swing?" Rainbow Dash flew in. "My injuries are healed!"

With her words, everyone started checking themselves. It was true, as tired as I was, my magic almost depleted, my body was completely healed, all of us were.

Even Rarity's tail had returned to its normal size, much to the seamstress's delight.

I yawned. Staying awake was becoming a challenging effort. I had gone to bed very late last night, studying Nightmare Moon, and woke up very early today.

I hadn't stopped for a second either, working and organizing the festival. The only thing I wanted right now was to sleep...

I yawned again and brought a hoof to my eyes to wipe away the small tears that had formed.

"Feeling sleepy?"

I nodded without turning around.

"Yes. I'm tired..." I yawned again. "And you, Devas, are you tired too?"

He had fought for a long time with Nightmare Moon, well, before they started talking. I couldn't imagine a scenario where he wasn't tired.

"Not at all. Frankly, my body is used to much greater exertion."

"Greater exertion than fighting an Alicorn?" I asked. He was full of surprises, wasn't he?

I slumped, leaning and resting my body on his leg. I needed to go check on Spike too... My best assistant must be worried...

I yawned again.

"Sorry to interrupt your conversation, Twilight, but could you introduce us?" Rarity made me open my eyes. Not just her, but all the girls were looking at me, or more specifically, at the being I was leaning on.

"This is Devas, my friend whom I met before coming to Ponyville." I yawned before continuing. "Devas, these are my friends whom I met after arriving in Ponyville..."

"Let us introduce ourselves, sugarcube. You seem to be falling asleep standing, let us take care of the rest." Applejack spoke before I could continue and tipped her hat. "My name's Applejack, partner. Farmer at Sweet Apple Acres in Ponyville."

I didn't see it, but I think Devas nodded back.

The next to introduce herself was Pinkie, I could tell even with my eyes closed, only she could create that whirlwind as she spun around me and Devas.

Well, Rainbow Dash too, but I could hear her wings louder, so it was just Pinkie left.

My tired brain must have filtered out the flood of questions Pinkie asked; Devas wasn't so lucky.

"What have you been drinking?!" His incredulous voice was funny. I couldn't help but laugh; Pinkie really was Pinkie, wasn't she? "Seriously, moving like that is not normal! Get off my back!"

The next to introduce themselves were Rarity and Rainbow.

"Pleasure to meet you, darling. I must say I've never seen anyone like you before, what are you?" I could imagine her tilting her head as she asked.

"He looks like a minotaur, kind of like a monkey too, but in fur." Rainbow wasn't subtle. "So big and scary dude, what are you?"

"Human, a different race and lives far away." Devas replied calmly, I presume to Rarity before answering Rainbow. "I'm human, little colorful pony."

"He's a good one." Applejack commented beside me.

The last to introduce herself was Fluttershy. I seriously thought she wouldn't, everyone seemed to find Devas scary for some reason, Fluttershy was the shyest, it was expected she wouldn't want to get close to Devas.

"Um... Your hair... Why is it... Like Twilight's?" I heard her voice whisper from afar. I had to concentrate to hear it, not Devas apparently.

"Would you believe me if I said it's a coincidence? My hair is naturally dark, almost completely black, it's this color because I lost a bet." Rainbow and Pinkie laughed at Devas's answer, I'm pretty sure Rarity and Applejack did too, but in a more restrained way.

I furrowed my brow a bit. It was sad his hair wasn't naturally that color, we matched.

"She's Fluttershy. Her voice is like that." Rainbow introduced the other pegasus. "So... Are we going home now? And what's that in your hooves, what is it?"

"Hands, they're called hands..." I instinctively replied before raising my head and opening an eye. "I'm curious too, what is this?"

I could feel the magic leaking from inside that cloth. It was alive, but what was it?...

Devas didn't answer; I felt him tense up and saw his head turn to the side, as if he were looking at something. Moments later, Princess Celestia's magic covered the area when she teleported in.

Devas managed to sense her teleportation before it happened? How?!

I shook my head to dispel some of my drowsiness and went to bow to the princess, but she stopped me.

"That's not necessary, Twilight. None of you need to kneel, I should actually, for you've done me a great favor today." The princess's voice was cheerful, as regal as ever, maternal, but happier for some reason.

The princess ignored everyone's looks and walked over to Devas. She was smaller than him, only her horn rising above the man's head.

"Goddess." Devas stared at the princess.

"Warrior." The princess replied back.

The two stood in silence for a few seconds before Devas stretched his arms and handed the cloth he had in his hands to the princess.

"I believe this is yours. She's asleep, but should wake up soon." Devas commented. Everyone was paying attention to the two.

Princess Celestia carefully took the cloth with her magic, as if what was inside were made of glass, and carefully pulled the cloth aside, revealing what was inside.

A pony, to be more specific, a small and much cuter version of Nightmare Moon.

"My dear sister... How long has it been..." The princess's voice was joyful and nostalgic.

"Wait a minute... SISTER?!"

I had no idea who had shouted, probably all of us.

[...]

POV: Devas Asura

After the "surprise" that Luna was Celestia's sister, we all returned to the treehouse that served as Ponyville's library.

And yes, I was included in "we all."

"I'm pretty sure my presence scares your ponies. Why am I here, Celestia?" I asked Celestia on the balcony where we stood.

I'll admit, Celestia was beautiful. I didn't say that with a romantic or sexual tone, no, I said it purely in admiration.

It was like looking at a painting, a work of art. Celestia was that, a painting; whether it was her white fur, feathered wings, or hair that shimmered even without wind, rainbow-colored, everything about her was art.

Celestia was, by definition, beautiful. It wasn't a compliment, it was the plain and simple truth.

"Why wouldn't you be, Devas?" Celestia replied with a calm, gentle voice. "And please, drop the 'Goddess'. I'm not one and never will be, I'm just a pony like any other. Call me Celestia, please."

Just a pony like any other? Yes, I certainly believed that...

I just had to check the calendar to see what day it was today. Maybe I really was born yesterday, because why the hell was it so hard for me to believe that?

To say that Celestia was strong was an understatement. She was a monster. If she said she could wipe a continent off the map, I would easily believe her.

And that was with her in the deplorable state she was in.

Luna wasn't the only one weakened; Celestia was too. I knew why Luna was—her imprisonment—but why the princess in front of me was, I had no idea.

We stood in silence for a few minutes, just looking out at the landscape, now illuminated by the Sun and not the moon. Celestia had brought back the day shortly after appearing at the end of the battle.

I casually moved my eyes to the door.

The other six, seven with Spike... Eight with the 'Mini-Luna' who was still asleep, were inside the treehouse packing up and preparing food for, in Pinkie's words, "a super-duper-hyper-master-blaster victory party against Nightmare Moon and a celebration for Princess Luna's return."

Element of Laughter? No, I was pretty sure it was the cocaine...

"You didn't lose to her, did you?" By her, I meant Nightmare Moon. There was no way Celestia could lose to that shell of a being.

Before she answered, Celestia cast a privacy spell around us.

"A privacy spell," I nodded, and she continued.

"No... I didn't lose to her... Do you blame me for that?" Celestia asked with a calm but embarrassed voice. She didn't turn to look at me.

"You made a bet..." I drummed my fingers on the balcony railing. "You bet that Twilight could bring Luna back from within Nightmare Moon, didn't you?"

"No." Celestia didn't hesitate to deny it. "It wasn't a bet, it never was. I trusted Twilight, I knew that of all the ponies, she was the one who could do the impossible... I couldn't do it, but I trusted that she could."

"She would have died if she failed." My tone was dry. Provoking a goddess who was often stronger than the last one I fought, wise? No.

But Celestia had been my ally from the start. Ever since she appeared, her icon on the minimap was green.

It was the third time this had happened, and it was still as strange as the previous two times.

"I wouldn't have allowed it. Even from afar, I was focused, watching the fight. Until you arrived, of course..." Celestia chuckled before sighing and wearing a grim, downtrodden yet resolute expression. "If it had been necessary, this time I would have done whatever was necessary..."

She would have killed her own sister. It wasn't necessary to finish the sentence.

"Did it never occur to you to help in the fight?" I drummed my fingers on the wood again. "Or was there something preventing you?"

"The elements. Luna and I were the ancient bearers of them; my presence wouldn't allow them to synchronize with other ponies... Everything would have been lost then." Celestia replied.

And as she had said before, "I couldn't do it, but I trusted that she could."

For some reason, she couldn't use the elements, perhaps because it was just her and Twilight and the other six, but Celestia couldn't save Luna, only imprison her.

What a shitty situation...

"Why do you want to know if I blame you, Celestia?" I asked after a few seconds. "Why ask me that of all people?"

Twilight deserved that question.

"I'll talk to Twilight later if that's your concern..." Celestia hesitated for a moment before continuing. "As for why I ask you this... You're like me..."

"I lack feathers and a horn for that, I fear." I pointed out. "I'm not a pony either."

Celestia, even though she seemed melancholic, laughed. It was a beautiful sound, more than that actually, it sounded as natural as birdsong.

"No, I suppose you're not a pony..." She murmured with a light laugh. "You're a Sun, Devas, just like me..."

I fell silent. I didn't think the same. Sun Breathing didn't put me on the same level as Celestia, and she should know that, but for some reason, she still said those words.

"You're not from Equus, are you?" Celestia asked, breaking the silence.

"No... I'm not." I didn't deny it. "How did you find out?"

"I am the Sun, Devas. If there were another, I would know; we would have collided long ago, it's inevitable." She laughed again.

"That makes no sense." I pointed out. I wasn't really like her.

"It does, believe me, it does. You'll understand later..." She sang. "How long will you stay here?"

"Three days is the limit; after that, I'm leaving." I wasn't lying; the limit was three days, but I could leave at any time.

"Why do you want to, or why must you?"

"Because I must. What brought me here will pull me back at the end of those three days." I sang back, just like her. "Why the question?"

"Curiosity, I suppose..." She casually replied. "Come on, by the good smell, I'm sure the food is almost ready; I'll wake Luna before that."

Celestia extended one of her wings and placed it on my back before starting to walk. I saw no reason not to follow her; as she said, the smell was great.

"Three days, isn't it?" Celestia sang again. "Time enough..."

I didn't ask what she was talking about; I thought it would be better to remain ignorant... Or that's what I liked to think.

Maybe I needed to escape from this world...

Just a few comments on the chapter:

I've tweaked the MLP lore a bit, well, the part about "Why does Celestia seem useless?" and "Why is Nightmare Moon so weak?"

Well, she's tired. Raising the night for a thousand years straight took its toll, she basically pushed the night along with the day and that took its toll.

As for Nightmare Moon, that's simpler: 1000 years in jail mess you up, even more so if the jail is the moon and you need to use your magic to stay alive.

I think that's all I wanted to comment on here, well, if anyone has any questions or wants to comment on something, feel free, I'll respond to the best of my ability without giving spoilers.

Finally, good night and happy reading!
