REMINDER - Members using iOS (Apple) phones to subscribe and pay - read this!!

Short version - Apple has forced a price increase to users subscribing to Patreon THROUGH THE MOBILE APP ON iOS since in November 2024. You can get around this by using your DESKTOP/Browser to subscribe to my patron.
First - this is specifically about members who subscribe to my Patreon USING THEIR APPLE PHONE! Everyone else - this does not affect you.
Second - Let me repeat that - ONLY people using their Apple phone Patreon Application to subscribe and pay to my patron are affected.
You can get around all this by using a web browser to subscribe if you are on iOS and want to save your money!

Starting in November this change will be taking affect and if you signup or resubscribe you will likely be hit with a price increase to your monthly subscription.
The (somewhat) easy workaround - just signup via the Website on your desktop computer or use some non-Apple phone app to sign up. Any Mac Desktop, Windows Desktop, Linus and non-Apple devices should be fine.
Again - this is ONLY for people who have Apple devices and use the Patreon's Mobile Application on iOS - desktop purchase on Apple are NOT AFFECTED.
Apologies to sound the alarm but I want you to get the best value possible and Apple dropping fees on Patreon (and creators) can be avoided with a little planning.
I can answer questions if you have them but I did not institute this and I am not a technician. I advise reading the link above if you want an overview.

This is for people SPECIFICALLY using iOS and the iOS Patreon Mobile application to pay for this (or any Patreon)
Everyone else (Windows, iOS desktops, Linux, etc are not affected)

2024-10-03 03:34:24 +0000 UTCIn the article i like I believe they are saying it's a 30% increase. Again you will want to do some legwork with the links above to verify since I am not the arbiter of the change. Also - signup via the web on desktop will avoid all this.

Not sure about recurring ones. If you did it in the past and dropped you will be affected if you sign up again (as far as I know but don't quote me).
