The Water Cooler: July 2023
Added 2023-07-01 00:11:00 +0000 UTCI love how you guys enjoy hanging out here, in this Water Cooler corner!
Thanks to MC for the suggestion, CICUKate for seconding the suggestion, and thanks to j3ffc, for the inspiration behind the Water Cooler moniker. ๐
Basically, the Water Cooler is where we can post random things that we'd like to share with everyone here.
So, we'd use the Deep dive for spoilers, Spoiler-free zone for non-spoilery drama chats, and the Water Cooler, for everything else. Like your favorite takeaway Korean fried chicken, or a link to a photo of the amazing cookies that you baked. ๐
Please enjoy.

@Princess.Jasmine - Thanks so much for sharing the video!!! What an intense movie to watch!
2023-07-27 23:56:04 +0000 UTCOn Oppenheimer: Managed to watch the movie and though it was uncomfortable/haunting it did throw light on many themes that has kept me thinking henceforth. Yet to read the book though on which it is based. I saw this below interview today between scientist Brian Cox and director Nolan and it was an interesting conversation in general and hence wanted to share here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AZaF_JFxBpE&list=PL5y9yh9HSxMa62LYy_LOr4mTU1KmUqPQ5&index=11 I was happy to note that Nolan compared Writers/Artists to Scientists and mentioned that they both work on intuition and understanding of the feelings. KFG - I really thought of you here ๐. (To clarify, I don't like violence/war in any which way and no way justify what Oppenheimer or the scientists did with Manhattan project)
