Thanks to Trent for suggesting and implementing the new SPOILER convention, where you announce your spoiler in a first level comment, then write your actual spoiler (while still announcing it's a spoiler) in a reply to your first level comment.

@CICUKate - I wish this one would grab me like Hidden Love did. I fell soundly asleep in each of the first three episodes! Im just not big into High School dramas anymore... However, Ill still give it my 6 episode chance for Cdramas though! :)

OK I could do with less of the (fat-phobic =( poking fun at a pervy and smelly colleague). Some of the humour is cringe. But some of the zany antics really get my funny bone!!! BUT the OTP interactions are soooooooooooo gooood! It’s squeezing much more feels for me than KTL. I’m so sorry Jun Ho you are a great actor but that show is kinda playing at secondary school level whereas this is proper stuff (at least so far!) This is my first time watching Song Seung Hoon and man his eyes are INTENSE!!!!! During the first episode I was like, hmm he’s not my type but in the most recent 1-2 episodes, I am really appreciating how he wears a smart casual white jacket, and his chiselled cheekbones, and his eyelashes… Uh what was I saying? Hahaha. Seo Ji Hye is lovely. I got a bit of whiplash cos this character is very different, much more outspoken, blunt and sometimes a bit cray-cray goofy compared to Seo Dan in CLOY. But she can really emote and get you to feel for her character. The appearance of the exes was very coincidental and forced a few episodes back but now their backstories are getting filled in a little so it’s interesting enough. Sure there are some tropes moments (ML appears just in time to warn jealous ex to back off and stop harassing FL, noble idiocy break up) but they are done very well! And not draggy.

2023-07-31 01:02:26 +0000 UTCIf anyone needs a super cute and angst free coming of age story with first love, I can highly recommend „When I Fly Towards You“. KFG is covering it in her episode notes. It’s a cdrama on viki with an adorable cast!
