@Elaine you got me at My Perfect Stranger and Agatha Christie and whodunnit. I do love whodunnits. I might give it a try. Where did you watch it on?

Just a very quick, non-spoiler report to say I was very satisfied with My Perfect Stranger!! Hope more people watch it! Basic premise is Back to the Future (time travel from 2021 to 1980s) blended with small-town murder mystery. I think the mystery was well-plotted out. Although the first couple of episodes were a bit kitschy with all the 80s nostalgia, this evens out and the setting becomes more lived-in, I feel. I think the overall mystery was well-plotted out and most of the plot lines involving the main characters and side characters was very well-resolved. I am emotionally satisfied by the conclusion (even though I would have liked for 1-2 little plot lines to have further resolution). This is not grim-dark or thriller at all, not like Signal or Beyond Evil. In fact I feel very refreshed by its treatment of the murder mystery… I would almost relate it to Agatha Christie in the sense that the murders are treated with the appropriate seriousness and sadness, but there is no dwelling on violence or the mind of the killer which can get sickening. Instead, it is a whodunnit. And also exploring the families of the bereaved. Slight spoilers on the OTP Some viewers have grumped that My Drama List mis-categorised it as a romance - it does have romance but very subtle and sweet instead of a grand romance or rom-com. I thought I would say this up-front since Viu (where I watched it) seems to be promoting it as a romance, given the selection of thumbnails and promo shots it is serving up. So I would say if you go in for small-town murder mystery with a bit of Back to the Future nostalgia then that should serve you well.

Jennifer -- I think you will be happy/satisfied with where our main characters end up, yes. Looking back (and it's been some time, now), I think my main quibble with the story was I'm not really sold on Rowoon as a romantic leading man, and I felt it dragged some in spots in the middle. But PEB is great, as usual (it's really her show), and seeing her deal with the pressure of living a hidden life all the time was worth it.

@Trent - FYI - I finally decided to start King's Affection. Happy Ending after faulty story telling right?!
