I fell in love with Michelle Yeoh after watching her movie Wing Chun back in 1994. Back then we couldn't figure out her age. The only info we could find was that she was born "in the year of the Tiger". My son (who was 9 at the time) and I thought "WE'VE GOT IT NOW!" All we have to do is look up which year was the year of the Tiger. So the next time we were at our favorite Chinese food restaurant, they provided menus that listed the years and we were "foiled again" when we found out that the year of the Tiger was not a one-time event. This meant at the time, based on our iffy calculations, she could've been in her 30's or 40's. 😆 That may sound crazy but there wasn't the exchange of information across the globe like there is today. And Michelle Yeoh has always had similar skin texture as the Canadian actress Carrie Ann Moss - they've both always had a softness to jaw line that always made me think they were older than they were. But it's served them both well once they did hit their middle-aged years. their faces changed very little over the years. Anyway, I've gone way off track just reminiscing about that time with my son and our fascination over the years with the lovely martial artist Michelle Yeoh. We loved her characterization of the evil alternate universe emperor on StarTrek Discovery. We've been waiting on the production to get on with her spin off series, but I recently heard they're not doing it 😢 but there will be a movie.🙂

It really is the Age of Enlightenment for Michelle Yeoh. She has so many projects coming to the small and big screen now.
