I'm admittedly slightly surprised by the wins for The Glory and Song Hye Kyo, because while I thought it was a solid show and that she gave a very good performance, I don't know if I would agree that these were the cream of the cream, y'know? 😅
But, I do feel that Lee Sung Min's win is absolutely deserved 🤩 - I do remember Rita calling it, while we were still watching Reborn Rich. You go, Rita!

Overall pretty pleased with the results. I haven’t watched many 2022 shows but was not surprised The Glory won. It’s not my type of show but I’ve heard so many good things about it. Acting wise - of course I love Park Eun Bin’s WYW so she utterly deserved the grand prize. Hey, I nominated her and Lee Sung Min as my best actors for my year end awards so I’m glad I called it right! Haha. On a personal bias note, happy that Jeon Do Yeon, Byun Yo Han and Ryu Joon Yeol won for the movie side of things as they are fantastic actors. Sorry Kyungho as much as I’m super biased towards you, there was no way you would’ve beat Lee Sung Min in Reborn Rich! Also, lovely Roh Yoon Seo definitely deserved the best newcomer award. Lastly happy that My Liberation Notes won something too. I’ll get to it one day!

I was surprised SHK won for The Glory but all things considered Park Eun Bin’s willingness to take on a tough and controversial role - and nailing it - makes her deserve the Daesang.
