Announcement: Poll results and other related things

Thanks so much for your input on my recent poll; Call It Love came out tops, and I've just published the first set of episode notes - I hope you enjoy. ❤️
At the same time, it doesn't mean that c-drama Hello, Beautiful Life is off the table.
In fact, there's a 50% chance that I might end up dropping Our Blooming Youth this week - depending on how I do with episode 12. I was not impressed with episode 11, which I'll talk about later, either in the episode notes (if I don't drop the show) or in the Dropped post (if I do drop the show).
If I do end up dropping Our Blooming Youth, I'm thinking that Hello, Beautiful Life might be a good choice to replace it, especially since I'm due to finish c-drama Meet Yourself very soon.
For now, I'm tentatively looking at kdrama Romantic Guest House as a potential replacement for Meet Yourself.
Other back-up shows on my list are: Silent (Japan), Delivery Man (Korea), Hi Venus (China), Lady's Character (China).
Please feel free to let me know your preferences in the comments below; while my drama mood does play a big part in my choice, I also am genuinely curious to know what shows you'd like to watch with me, at the moment.

PS: I aim to write a quickish First Impressions post for Oasis, since I'd originally said that I would cover the show - but it might be slow in the coming, because I am still scrambling to get on top of my schedule for everything else.
I just wanted to let you know that I do hope to write something about it, for those of you who are curious to know what I think of what I've seen so far.

@CICUKate - You are welcome :) I still havent managed to start this one, yet, for some reason! Ill wait to see if you really make it to the end before I start watching, lol ;-) Oh yes, so unfair to go from First Love to Silent and compares :) I gave them space and enjoyed both for different reasons!

There are not enough swoony scenes between the leads for my taste and show was leaning more into the "actual" plot. Fwiw, the actual plot isn't bad. Show isn't exactly fast paced romcom action, but I like acting, chemistry and I even tolerate the "humor" something I usually struggle with. Me, serial dropper Kate, is sticking with this one til the end :) I haven't watched any of the potential replacements you mentioned except Silent, which I liked very much. For me it was in the unfortunate time slot right after "First Love Hatsukoi" and I kept comparing (not fair). Silent is great in its own right and definitely worth a watch!

2023-03-17 14:26:41 +0000 UTCOoof I found Lady’s Character to be both bland and cringe. Starry Love is very very good! It’s absolutely hilarious. Very fast paced. A very typical story that feels a little bit fresh.
