This one looks like it could be potentially fun?
The set-up, where there's a loveline between two people who not only meet in real life, but also know each other in-game, gives me Love O2O vibes, except this trailer seems to suggest that this show will be more comedic than Love O2O.
The set-up also kinda-sorta reminds me of 1998 movie "You've Got Mail," where the leads don't like each other in real life, but don't realize that they're actually already pen pals.
I guess that's where the title "Double Love" comes from.
Show stars Zhang Xue Ying and Bi Wen Jun, both of whom I'm not familiar with, so I can't say if they're really good, or petty meh. 😅
This one's 24 episodes and is due to air on iQIYI, sometime soon.
(The original airdate was 2 days ago, on 1 December, but that's been pushed back, as China's in a state of national mourning for the passing of former president Jiang Zemin.)

Sounds like a fun concept! I loved You've Got Mail! Thanks in no small part to the immense charm of Tom Banks and Meg Ryan who light up the screen individually and together!

2022-12-04 07:30:24 +0000 UTCI find that Zhang XueYing is decent and has had moments where I quite liked her, but at the same time it's really hard to judge bc she has a pretty terrible repertoire of mediocre to terrible dramas and frequently plays lots of roles that are similar and don't really show much of anything but "meh". idk who the guy is.
