I'm.. not feeling suuper sure about the comic tone that this trailer is serving up, to be honest.
Although, I'm guessing that Show will actually be a blend of this comic tone, and the comparatively more thoughtful first trailer (here).
I'd actually shortlisted this one for Patreon coverage, based on the first trailer, but if Show turns out to be too comical, I'll likely switch to something else, since k-humor and I don't typically jive too well, particularly if the humor is served up in a sageuk. 😅
This one is 12 episodes, and will air on Fridays and Saturdays, from 9 December to 14 January, on MBC. No word yet on which streaming platforms will carry this one.

I feel like this has potential to be interesting with that mix of comedy and poignant moments if it delivers. Since I have enjoyed Mr. Queen and Queen's Umbrella, will prob try to check this out!
2022-12-02 05:57:03 +0000 UTCI‘m 100% with you on kdrama humor. Sadly, too often I find it cringey instead of funny. Here is to hoping they get it right with this drama (Inspector Joy was a cute and funny period drama that worked for me). For now, I‘m fangirling about Kim Young Dae getting another ML role after Sh**ting Stars. 🤩
