What are your thoughts on cdrama "The Long Ballad"?
Added 2022-10-09 01:55:02 +0000 UTCSo.. I'm due to finish my watch of Love Like The Galaxy in just a few weeks, and because I'm so smitten by Leo Wu 😍 in it, I couldn't help but poke around his filmography, to see what else I'd like to check out.
I'm very intrigued by the trailer of The Long Ballad, because DANG he looks great in it! And, I've heard some good things about the show too.
However, it is a slightly older show, from 2021.
What are your thoughts on this one being a potential replacement for Love Like The Galaxy?
I'd really like to know what you guys think!

2022-10-10 02:16:36 +0000 UTCFangurl - this made it onto my Top Ten 2021 listing. This was primarily due to Leo Wu being in it. I will say that the OST is one of the best ever and I watched all the intros (which we know in CDrama are quite long) and every ending with all the credits just to hear those two songs which are hauntingly beautiful. I also watched episodes raw as I was pretty into it when it aired. I remember Beez and I laughing at all the hair in this one. Lots of flowing tresses. I am one that loved the second leads in this and they were actually listed as my favorite OTP of 2021. I also read the manhua which is an unfinished work. I enjoyed this drama although it did get slightly draggy 3/4 of the way through. It had a lot of good action scenes. If you decide to cover this I would suggest 4 episodes at a time as it is pretty long. I do not regret the time I invested in this. The OST is wow.

2022-10-09 20:43:18 +0000 UTCI thought all the performances were fine, but I didn’t really like how Dilraba’s character was written. It felt very forced and in your face. I loved Leo’s styling and eye candy esp the action sequences. Didn’t personally care for the second lead pairing but I know everyone loved it.
