Y'know, the one where an elderly grandmother from North Korea doesn't have much time left, and someone hires a theater actor to act as her grandson, to fulfill her last wish of reconnecting with him.
When Show was first announced, based on the premise, it had sounded like a heartwarming, poignant sort of story, but the vibe of the trailer leans melodramatic to me, so.. color me slightly surprised and confused. ๐
I also have to confess that I typically just don't jive with Ha Ji Won as an actress, so that's not helpful.
HOWEVER. I do love Kang Ha Neul, Go Doo Shim and Sung Dong Il, so I'm feeling cautiously game to check this one out.
Show is 16 episodes and will air from 31 October to 20 December, on Mondays and Tuesdays, on KBS2. No word yet on which streaming platforms will carry this one.
