Subbed teaser for upcoming drama "May It Please The Court"

I don't know what is up with Dramaland and the apparent deluge of law dramas it's serving up lately.. 😅

This one features Jung Ryeo Won as a success-driven lawyer who has to defend a murderer, and thus ends up in the biggest dilemma of her life - or so the synopsis says.

We can't tell much from just this teaser (enable cc. for eng subs), except that it appears that Jung Ryeo Won and Lee Kyu Hyung look set to butt heads.

I'm admittedly not terribly excited about this one, but I do like both leads, so if this one gets enough positive buzz I might be interested to take a look.

Show is 12 episodes and is set to premiere sometime in September on Disney+.

Subbed teaser for upcoming drama "May It Please The Court"

Just popping into a relatively spoiler-free space, as I am way behind on all dramas (but excited to be watching EAW - at ep 5 - and Carnival, uh, Alchemy of Souls - ep 12!!) to read that @Trent has been beating up on court room issues. As a Science Boy, I've occasionally done the same and there is indeed a satisfying/public service element that one gets our of correcting errors in dramas. But it brings to mind a lecture by Michael Crichton some years ago, where he addressed a big science convention on the topic of science errors in shows, movies, books, etc. His bottom line point was basically "get over it! - the creator's mission is not to make a documentary but to entertain". There's a lot more to it than that - and I don't agree with all of it - but he does have a point and I've tried to temper my carping lately. (Crichton published this in Science as well). I'll add here only his four movie "rules" from that article: (i) Movie characters must be compelled to act. (ii) Movies need villains. (iii) Movie searches are dull. (iv) Movies must move. That being said, I always enjoy Trent's commentary and most assuredly do not wish to cramp his considerable style. Just adding food for thought.

After really enjoying Extraordinary Attorney Woo I'm not ready for another law drama. But that's okay, it will give me a chance to watch a few of the dramas on my huge and ever-growing list!
