Subbed trailer for upcoming Jang Hyuk movie "The Killer"
Added 2022-04-17 06:44:13 +0000 UTCSo I just watched The Swordsman (review is here) and watching this trailer, I'm inordinately amused that the concept is basically the same.
To my eyes, The Killer is basically The Swordsman, just in modern times, with cars and guns. π
In both stories, Jang Hyuk's character is a retired fighter/killer, now drawn out of retirement, in order to save a young girl in his care.
Of course, the main draw, in both shows, is Jang Hyuk himself, so no complaints there.
The Killer is slated for a 2022 release. No word yet on which streaming platforms it will be available on, and when.
