Hooray Jennifer! ๐Ÿ’ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿงจ

@Jennifer -- a good write-up, I mostly agree... I was left with a pleasant, gently melancholic-but-hopeful feeling. Not the greatest show by a long-shot, but considered overall, reasonably decent.

@Rita - Im in the home stretch of Under The Skin!!!!

@Kun - 39 Spoiler Alert - Final Episode 39 Spoiler Alert ______________________________________ For a Show fraught with so much controversy over one character, I think the Show did a beautiful job with the ending. Trent - no they did not get married! But for different reasons than people would have liked. Chan Young did not want Jin Seok to be divorced and a windower. So she never married him. He moved in with her and took care of her until the end. Some people cannot handle when a partner gets sick and leaves more often than not its portrayed in entertainment and in life that men (no offense to any males here) cannot handle when their wife/partner falls ill. So from that perspective he stuck around for the really tough stuff even though the Show did not show us the though stuff. The Finale opened with Chan Young being rushed to the hospital in pain and I thought oh so they will show us her passing away and how they all deal with losing her for the remainder of the Show. To my surprise, the Show had her get out of the hospital and we were able to spend some beautiful moments with her friends and family in her final months. She provided her two best friends with a list of who she wanted invited to her funeral. Instead, Mi Jo invited everyone to a brunch the friends on the list and the girls parents and the guys to a surprise brunch. Chan Young left a video message for Mi Jo because she knew Mi Jo would have a hard time for Joo Hee to give to her when Mi Jo was struggling. They took Chan Young for a different funeral picture and created lots of happy laughing moments together. I thought that was special. Oddly the men were missing most of the time from the end of the Show specifically Seon U and the Chef. Brief moments here and there we see them. I found that odd....especially with Mi Jo towards the end sleeping by herself with the lights on as she became more anxious with each passing day when the phone would ring or buzz. What I thought the show most beautifully did was show how everyone gently moved on with their lives showing the happy moments separate in their own lives and when they would come together as they promised Chan Young they would at different times. While I would have loved a different beginning for Chan Young and a different relationship, I think the show did a beautiful job showing three women who were best friends loving each other dearly to the end. EDIT: I forgot to add I could never get enough of Mi Jo's sister. Never. :-)
