Subbed trailer for "Why Her" aka "Why Oh Soo Jae"
Added 2022-01-31 09:20:15 +0000 UTCOk, so here's the thing. I really really like both Seo Hyun Jin and Hwang In Yeop. I also typically have a soft spot for noona romances. Plus, Bae In Hyuk, whom I also have a soft spot for, is in this.
BUT. In this scenario, Noona's going to be his law professor. 😭😭 Rather than "Why Her," I'm leaning towards asking, "Why, Show???" 😝😅
On the upside, Oh Soo Jae (Seo Hyun Jin) isn't a regular law professor. From the trailer and the synopsis, it seems that she's actually a super successful lawyer, who's sent to do some time as a law professor at a university, when things go awry in one of her cases.
Feelings stir between her and Hwang In Yeop's character, who's a student in her class, as she strives to regain her position at her law firm.
Which, I suppose, means that she will only be his law professor for a limited period of time?
But also.. that was how they tried to manage the teacher-student thing in Melancholia, and I didn't like how that worked out?
However, at least in here, he's in university rather than in high school? And I was ok with a professor-student loveline in My Roommate is a Gumiho? 🤔
In the end, I would probably take a look at this, just for the leads, but.. I might also drop out, if it ends up getting squicky.
Show is 16 eps, and will air on Fridays and Saturdays, from 11 March to 30 April on SBS and Viki.
