Subbed trailer for upcoming drama "Grid"
Added 2022-01-31 08:52:10 +0000 UTCThis one kinda-sorta gives me echoes of 2017's Circle, which also had two timelines, and where there was also a mysterious entity that our main characters were trying to track down.
I thought Circle was an interesting watch, particularly since, at the time anyway, it was the rare kdrama attempting the sci-fi genre.
In Grid, there's a mysterious entity, referred to as a "ghost," who saved humankind in 1997, and then disappeared, before resurfacing 24 years later, when it helps a serial killer escape. Our main characters all pursue this "ghost" for different reasons.
On the upside, it stars at lot of familiar faces: Seo Kang Joon, Kim Ah Joong, Kim Moo Yeol, Lee Si Young and Kim Sung Kyun. Plus, it's only 10 episodes, so it promises to be fairly tightly written.
On the downside, this is going to be on Disney+, which, so far anyway, has used a limited, instead of global, approach to its release of kdramas.
Show will air on Wednesdays, from 16 Feb to 20 Apr 2022.
