Ok, ok, so technically, we've already had news of him joining Our Blues, but since Our Blues is an omnibus sort of deal, and he's in just one of several stories in that omnibus, I kind of consider this his actual, proper, drama comeback.
It's a Netflix original drama going by the title "Courier" and Woob's the lead, with Esom playing opposite him. He plays a legendary courier, in a dystopian future, where air pollution is so bad that people have to depend on delivery services to survive.
It sounds like it could be interesting? But it also sounds like it might be terrible? I dunno. Dystopian dramas haven't been that great, as we've seen from Sisyphus and The Devil Judge (which wasn't even as dystopian as it claimed to be).
On the upside, the last time Dramaland served up a legendary courier, we got the amazing Healer..? ππ€©
I'm also secretly (now not so secretly) wondering how I'll react to having Woob back on my screen. As you might know, I used to be ALLL about Woob.. but then my unfortunate attempt to watch all of Uncontrollably Fond for him, had the weird effect of draining me of most of my Woob loyalty. π (It's not good to hate-watch things, y'all!)
And then he went on hiatus to take care of his health, and while I've always wished him well, I haven't been an active fan either. I can be quite the fickle fangirl that way. π
Plus, now I'm ALLL about Junho πππ, so.. I'm curious to see how I do? π
Regardless, I'm so glad that Woob's health is back, and he's able to continue acting!

PS: I also just wanted to vent (very slightly). Feel free to skip if you don't care about my mini rant. π
I came across a remark about my Junho post (not on the site, but elsewhere, through a referral link on my dashboard), where someone wrote something along the lines of, how could I have watched Just Between Lovers, and NOT fallen for Junho as an actor? The audacity, for me to have fallen for him now, in TRS!
Like, do people not understand that just because I find an actor excellent, does not mean that I have to fall for him..? π That is not how it works? And I did say in the post, that Junho's excellent in Just Between Lovers, so it's not like I didn't see his acting talent? π
ANYWAY. Thanks for listening - it's not a big deal, but I was a little taken aback by it when I read it.
