What to do if your Patreon comments disappear

Jennifer alerted me to the fact that several of you have been experiencing disappearing comments here on Patreon.
This is the Patreon system recognizing the comments as spam. Leslie had a similar issue, which is how I found out about this quirk and what to do about it.
Those of you who’ve had comments eaten can reach out to Patreon via your account to have all your comments reinstated, which is what Leslie did. Unfortunately I can’t do this on everyone’s behalf because they need the account holder to reach out.

It might take a while, but they should get back to you eventually, and all your eaten comments should reappear. In the meantime, if you have a specific comment that you recall losing, feel free to message or email me, and I can find it in my email notifications and send it to you, so that you can repost it!
Edited to add: If you happened to edit your comment after posting it, however, my email notification would only contain the previous version, pre-edit.
