Wishes Page 254, some things I think about when I redraw/revisit older work

You might know I enjoy going back to some older work and do a retouch or redraw. A lot of times it's mostly  a personal thing. That is, no one is asking me to do it. Mostly, it's me going back and adjusting work I feel is ALMOST there in terms of what I want.

When I draw I mostly charge ahead with the work and don't spend a huge amount of time with layouts and construction lines AND WHO WOULD HAVE GUESSED THAT with all my crazy anatomy and weird proportions. HAHAHAHAHAH HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Well, I did this retouch of Luna's face and I thought I would share an example of  minor retouches I think help sell the idea I wanted while keeping the energy of the old drawing.

Notes:

A lot of times these redraws are my personal way to improve by critiquing my own work and getting more practice in. For me, it's as important as doing new work!

Hope you enjoy that little "Inside Baseball" moment! (or "behind the scenes" for our non-baseball fans)

THANK YOU!
