2021.09.22 Ready's Ramblings Episode 029

Just a series of notes from me to you! Thank you!

Hello everyone!

It’s been a while since we’ve done a Ready’s Rambling. This is where I gas on about a lot of random things. Mostly, it’s one of the ways I use to help connect with you. I’m working every day behind the scenes to bring you my very best.

I hope each of you is doing well. 2020 was a crazy year for everyone and it seems like we’re still sorting things out well into 2021. As I said before and as I truly believe, things will get better. They always do. Your old pal Ready had been around for a while and there’s a cycle that happens. Events conspire, things look gloomy, but they always take a turn for the better. In my opinion, when things start looking good they do so in small increments. Day by day life improves, much like the arrival of spring. At first it seems like nothing is happening but one day you look outside and everything is beautiful. I don’t know that’s exactly what’s going to happen for every single one you but its something I wish upon all of you.

I don’t want to be so presumptuous to think I’ve a roadmap which can lead you or anyone into amazing happiness or wealth. I can tell you what’s worked for me. Working on something you love, pouring yourself into a passion project, helped me get through tough times. There’s a lot in that previous sentence. It’s never easy to do what you love; it’s fulfilling but you have to be reasonable when you pursue your dreams.

I think part of being reasonable is the ability to recognize the difference between avoiding something risky and avoiding something because you are afraid. They are not always the same thing. Your old pal Ready knows a thing about fear. Even though I been sharing my work for a while now, it took a while to get to the point where I felt comfortable putting art up for others to see. If fear is holding you back maybe it’s time to consider pushing through the fear. Again, I have to throw out the caution there are a lot of factors in any decision. No one should be reading this (or any) advice on the Internet without a fair degree of skepticism and research. Each person has to make their own decisions based on their own life and circumstance.

I feel I was lucky. My parents, my friends and my circumstance aligned in an amazing way. That may not be the case for everyone. I get so inspired by people who come up through difficult circumstances and fight through adversity.

Then there’s you. You inspire me too! That’s the absolute truth. When you support my art in any form, paid or not, it means a lot to me. This Patreon, the animations, the comics and everything else are possible because you’re here. I take myself and YOU seriously.

My hope is each of you get a chance to pursue your dreams successfully. I don’t know what those dreams are. They may have nothing to do with erotic art and that’s fine. If you been waiting for the right time to start, start now. Do a little, just a little, and move towards that goal. Sometimes that’s all it takes.
