Next Comic: The Wall (to the Patreon Gallery)

All right everyone… You know we are doing comics differently now. I’ve spoken about it in other posts and we are transitioning to the new procedure. Before I get going let’s cover some ground quickly.

• The idea is to get you more comic pages. 
• An example is GLab 35 is OVER 210 pages. At my regular rate and starting this week you would get about 140 pages by the end of September. The means you are getting roughly 70 plus EXTRA pages with this new way. 
• We are moving away from the weekly uploads and instead shifting to full comic uploads. That’s ‘uploads’ as in hundreds of pages of art at once.
• The time between uploads has increased but overall you get more.
• There is a lifetime reward that has been in place for almost a year now. If you have donated $12 or more over any amount of time you are eligible to see comics in my Patreon gallery forever. 12 bucks get you unlimited access forever with your Patreon login. To be clear that is just the Patreon gallery on my main site. It is not access to all downloads or other rewards!
• One of my subgoals here is to get the comics caught up with where I’m drawing them. There is no perfect timetable on that right now. I’m sort of feeling my way through it so bear with me.

Okay all that out of the way, the next planned comic coming will be at the end of September. Before you jump out your seat and scream how far away that seems just realize I just spent June frontloading a ton of comics for you comic fans. Everyone basically got months and months of comics all at once. My plan is to still deliver as many or more comics as I would in any given year. I’m just spacing it out differently. Ideally, you’re actually getting a lot more pages this way and my workload in prepping things goes down. When that prep time goes down I can, TA-DA, draw more!

So right now the plan is to get full new comic in your hands before October. I will do what I can to get you more than that. What will happen when a new comic goes up is (ideally) the Patreon gallery gets a new comic, a new PDF is made available for patrons, and the oldest comic in the Patreon gallery is moved to the free gallery. Just to be clear, a version of this is been happening for the last 10 years so there’s not a whole lot this changing other than me getting you more art faster.
