Early week update from Ready

Hello to all new and returning patrons! Thank you again for your support and encouragement! 

We're roughly halfway to the next full animation release!

Yep, I expect to be uploading the FINAL MP4 animation for April on the evening of the 28th (see below for what I mean by 'evening')

I  predict this animation to be as long or LONGER than the last one which was already nearly seven minutes. That sounds crazy when I write it but I am pushing to bring you something amazing.

One thing I am trying out this month is to  pace the work so I can layer in all the needed post production without hitting a massive wall of work at the end. What normally happens is I draw right up till the weekend  before the release. Then it's a marathon of work to add in all the needed dialog, sound, music and FX. This time around I will probably start some of the final production a little earlier and continue with the animations right up till the end. Basically, I'm pacing myself better so I can hit consistent goals. 

More polls coming for future animations and art

If you are part of the animation tier you can expect more polls to be going up near the end of the month. I will be posting polls for what you would like to see in the May animation as well as any bonus ideas I might want to run by you. 

At this point the Animation Tier is the GO TO place if you want to directly impact what is in the animation work. It's the place I go for not only getting direction for animations but it's the tier that can suggestion and vote on subjects for upcoming animations. Examples including the recent introduction of more FMG as well as things like grow offs and more. If you want to have you say and have it heard - that is the place to be!

Animation Previews continue to help bring in new patrons

I know this is an obvious point but since there are more low res animation previews released there is a noticeable upswing in patrons joining our group. I am so happy for that and also appreciate the understanding from the current patrons about why this works. 

In short - we do better when we show people trailers, teasers or clear examples of what they can expect versus showing them little or no previews. It's basic hype theory and it's worked for movies, books, sporting events and anything you want people interested in. Show them WHY they might like it and they will come!

So thank you to all here for 'getting it' and here's to the many new friends and fans we are bringing in. Ideally many, MANY more animations are in our future!

From an Earlier Post - Sunday Release and release times in general for all my friends across the globe

I get asked about this from time to time and wanted to restate the general intent when I say things like 'releasing Sunday night' or 'this will be out Friday night'. Overall when I say "night" the goal currently is to get it up between midnight UTC 0, and midnight West Coast of the United States (UTC -8). That's an eight hour release window I know but I always work to have things up as early as I can.
