I'm pretty sure you would love it. The script is especially awesome there - like my best friend who is a documentary director and not watching that many animation stuff was the one to recommend it first because the dramaturgy is top notch and then of course everyone from my field recommended it too afterwards. It's excellent - and the animation is cool too. There's only one season so far since it's fairly new - if I'm not mistaken it came out in the end of 2023.

And I have subtitles on for any movie/show even if it's in English, it's just second nature at this point. Even not knowing a lot about LOL, I think the show does a pretty good job on making it's own thing while still paying homage to the LOL games. Can't wait for the next :)

I still haven't watched the 2nd season (even though I must - for work as well), so I might just wait for you to catch up and then watch together. Animation here is something, I'm glad you're finally watching! Also off topic, but this reminded me... I don't remember if you had it on the list when you had the poll, but I hope that at some point we'll watch Blue Eye Samurai as well :D

And I've seen this show already, so I really wasn't expecting the opening scene to still get me. It's just a testament to how well done it is. It's so powerful and really does set the perfect tone for this show. All I can say is buckle up because you're in for a ride, lmao. So excited to watch this again with you!
