2025-01-03 20:19:26 +0000 UTCI've let the dust settle, and here are my thoughts after episode 10: I just love the entire cast, even the kidnapper was given so much depth. I almost felt pity for him when he was talking to his so-called mother. Do Jae was clearly sent on a redemption arc, and I'm not mad about that. He's a tragic character and deserves a second chance. Even though Sa Eon said there will be no mercy bc he pushed Hui Ju, he's already shown him a lot of compassion. I wonder what role he'll play in the search party, along with In A and likely Mr. Hong, who looked extremely mad in ep 11 preview. In my opinion there's no way Hui Ju is dead or severely injured with only 2 episodes left. Since they keep hinting at our leads biggest dream - living an ordinary life together. Even during that last press conference, I see it as a foreshadowing of a happy ending. So far, episode 10 is my second favorite after episode 7.

Felt like a red herring, but honestly, the writers did their thing! As for Saeon being blood related to grandpa Paik, it would mean his DNA would've at least partial match to his father if it was true. The cope with Heejoo at the end. I mean, same, honestly lmao

2024-12-30 00:49:18 +0000 UTCidk if they did it on purpose or if I'm reading too much into it but, at least to me, the parallels to the first episode are crazy! Sa-eon holds a press conference but instead of being cold and calculating, he's crying and asking for help. Hee-joo gets kidnapped but this time Sa-eon knows what's going on and we know how much he truly loves her. He used to tell Hee-joo that no one could ever know that she's his wife. Now everyone knows because he told them, but he only cares about her well-being and wants her by his side. I think I'm gonna re-watch the first episode to catch everything but I just found it interesting how similar yet different those scenes were. Haven't seen such a well-written kdrama in a long time!

2024-12-29 23:59:54 +0000 UTCI do have a crazy theory that Hee-Jo might be in a coma in the hospital or something and our Saeon is trying to draw out the psycho who’s probably being protected by his mother. One other theory is tied to the fact that we still don’t know how Do-Jae and the psycho even met or how the psycho knew who the wife was and where she could be which is why I still think the Mom is the culprit . Other than that the families are crazy the writing and acting are amazing and this is definitely in my favorite list for the year and all time.

2024-12-29 21:53:46 +0000 UTCso many questions answered in this episode thank god. But now I want to know who is Saeon really? I didn't want to suspect Dojae early on, but it was a great callout. And glad he's on Saeon's side since he knows the truth now. Definitely one of my fave dramas this year, even though I haven't watched many (as we talked about earlier lol).
