Ok I have to be honest, this was the first time im actually annoyed by a plot reveal. Introducing the idea that you are able to transfer devil frutis by eating a devil fruit user makes no sense in this world. You would think that, surely people who research devil fruits would try something like this first because thats the most logical thing and if they did, this method would be alot more prevalent in this world. We have a bunch of evil pirates conquering the world, like they would care about cannibalism. no way. This also makes Blackbeard alot more lame for me, the idea that he could steal DFs like it nothing was his big plot reveal. But atleast he can have multiple so its not quiet the same.

Actually I think she's my favorite villain in OP. There's just too many layers in her character. And yes, i agree, this wouldn't happen if she was given proper guidance as a child. Her goal about co-existing and stuff is for good, but her ways of reaching that goal was evil--and it seems like she's not aware of it. > And yes! I agree about how it tackles generational trauma too. I think WCI is like a big family drama---but shonen version 🤣 I love how Oda touches on this subject.
