^ Also this said, beyond my general selfish desires to just know for the sake of knowing, I really love that Gon doesn't continue on with the information on his mother out of love and respect for Mito. He sees her as a mother because she has raised him, and more than anything, regardless of who his biological mother is, he is just completely fine not knowing as he already has his family. Simple, yet beautiful writing honestly, man. Pair that with Ging saying "I couldn't face you now", and these ideas of family you're born to / family you choose come to light. At the end of the day, as long as you're happy, it doesn't really matter who is what I guess!

Yesss same here Shrimp! Thanks so much as always for watching man. Anf huge facts on your points with the Hunter's Exam Arc and Heaven's Arena. I feel like it's definitely a two-parter and it does so much to introduce us to juuuuust enough characters but not too much. It's great!

I don't necessarily like one more than the other because they feel like a two part introduction to HxH. Part 1 being introduced to Hunters and Part 2 being introduced to Nen. I guess because of passing the Secret Hunter Exam is like, Okay now the Exam is truly over and we get to move forward starting our real journey. Really excited for YorkNew City and the upcoming 4 episode drops!
