I get that sometimes they might be a little left of field or off the beaten track for some, but I really respect stories like this that leave so many thoughts lingering in my mind. Of course the story itself and what is presented is enjoyable as hell but to leave me just thinking about whats going to happen in the next episode of Bleach for a whole week is such a special thing, idk.

I'm so glad youve spotted that because its beautifully done imho. So much is being expanded on here from the manga, the way Yhwach's motives MAKE SENSE, the chess moves hes pulled especially in this ep... the rollercoaster is in FULL FORCE. Yhwach is definitely one of my fav villains of ANYTHING because of the way this plot is moving. Poor Ichigo though has been through enough trauma, someone help him D:

2024-10-16 02:45:29 +0000 UTCman of course there are so many things to talk about the story itself but I just love how much kubo is willing to add or adjust so many things in the anime since the manga was too rushed. it reached a point where if anyone asks if they should read the manga i'd say nah anime is canon now. many anime adaptations have extended fight scenes but bleach is doing that not just for the entertainment of the viewers but also to show the strength that wasn't showed in the manga. for example, ichigo vs yhwach in cour 1 in the manga was ichigo using 1 getsuga and yhwach piercing ichigo's neck revealing his blut vene. that becoming ichigo actually going against yhwach quite equally at the start really showed ichigo's strength. not just that, the first gotei 13 scene was one panel with just the silhouette of them and they showed them fully in anime. and manga readers didn't understand how yamamoto beat yhwach 1000 years ago, since we assumed that he had almighty and lost that after losing to yamamoto, but anime revealed that ichibe already sealed the almighty before the war with the flashback so it made so much sense. and squad zero was instantly anihilated after the auswählen so there was no after fight with senjumaru bankai in the manga...(+shinji's bankai was only revealed in the light novel too) and now this ep had soul king's name (which was never revealed even in the light novels) and ichigo vs yhwach 2nd round. (if i remember correctly, ichigo went straight to pull the sword out from the soul king in the manga) man this anime gives me different excitement from other animes of how it will change or what will be added. (ppl who went to the pre screening of ep3 said there will be a 10 minute scene which was 1~2 panels in the manga so i'm so excited rn)

2024-10-16 02:36:36 +0000 UTCAlso, my favorite part about bleach is all of the crazy reveals. They just make me think that there is no way they can connect this in a way that makes sense. First thing that comes to mind was Ichigo being a Quincy. My first thought was "aint no way" and in the end it made perfect sense. (Pretty similar to your reaction Lok, if I remember correctly) Also, big sword = cool.

2024-10-16 00:48:48 +0000 UTCPoor guy. Aizen planning Ichigo's life, Yhwa foreseeing all of that. Now, i also wonder whether all of that is part of Soul King's master plan. Or did he know that would happen but still didn't intervene regardless? Either way, Ichigo is being played once again. And as you said, there are so many characters who might play a role here, that i wonder how will it play out. From the poem, Ukitake seems to be cooking something. We got a sneak peak of his power last season, and im still not sure what that shadow like hand was. We might see more of that next episode.
