I think it’s just a thing though where no matter what it’s still a first watch so some things will be forgotten or prioritised differently in the brain so it’s impossible to remember everything on the first go anyway. That said, I’ve started my first read through of the manga now though and it’s going great so that’ll help to plug a lot of gaps I’m sure! Hoping the new series does a lot to mitigate this though hopefully 🥹 Sometimes I just forget shit too and it’s not necessarily anything else’s fault but my own 🤣

2024-08-26 03:49:31 +0000 UTCi would say this is the major downside to how long One Piece is and the added length that comes from reacting to this and other shows that extends the watching. I just think that some of the info in the episodes would hit different if Lok remembered the last time it was referenced like Crocus already confirmed as Roger's doctor by Raleigh back before the time skip. Not a complaint but just an observed downside I have seen from multiple people that are taking longer to get through the show. I am hoping that if "The One Piece" goes to the story's completion this is one area that gets remedied with pacing/length.
