It's Okay To Not Be Okay - Episode 6 | REACTION

God damn I love this drama.

First 10 minutes or so are just a recap of sorts yet a clarification on how I read this drama and what I think is important about it!

Just thought I wanted to talk about that in the beginning as it has been around 6 weeks now since we started and I have a bit of a better handle on what I like about it as a whole and thought I'd give it some space to talk about the drama and its themes that I like.

Either way, try not to pause challenge failed once again, but lmao we already knew that didn't we?

Enjoy the video y'all!

Big love,

~ Lok

I really enjoy watching this with you even if I am talking outloud to my computer at times. I personally like your pauses it makes it more like watching with someone that is like minded and there's discussion over a point. Moon-young held it together for such a long time with that woman even when she did let go she was not overly loud or mean she spoke facts as she understood them and walked away yes the woman fainted and Moon-young could have gotten her help but I really don't think she had it in her by that point. I'm amazed she made it home on her own honestly. Gang-tae's ability to read her symptoms was a lovely thing to see he is well suited for mental health. Great reaction

The end of this episode is gut wrenching. Her nightmare really brings into focus on why she was the way she was as a child. Her mother threatening to kill the prince who will take her away, explains why she rejected him and yelled at him, when he showed up at her house by the gates all those years ago. I’m sure her mother threatened to hurt anyone she got close with. That’s especially heartbreaking because we already know that she was always looking for a prince to rescue her from the castle. The dad remains a mystery. I have a theory, and I’m probably wrong lol. But I think her dad killed her mom either on purpose or by accident…and she witnessed it, or a part of it, which she repressed the memory. I think her dad somehow covered that up and maybe made her think she was crazy, and said something like her mom just abandoned them or something. But she remembers what really happened, or at least the parts she was witness to, so therefore she grew to hate her dad. Anyway that’s kind of where my mind is anyway with this. This drama is amazing, it balances some very dark matter with light hearted moments.

tbh juri annoys me 😭 🤣 i have no deeper explanation with that other than i'm just biased towards moon young 🤣✌🏻.. but fr tho, juri's action shows how a typical person will react if we are in her shoes and that's valid. i feel like among all the characters here, juri is the most normal one. glad to know you're enjoying this drama, lok! The plot has a lot of layers so I really enjoy you taking time to share your thoughts 💕

Now while it was obviously not the right way to go about making sang tae move in with her this this was such an important step for gang tae and sang tae. The ending of this episode gets me every time! Gosh yea ji is such an incredible actress. And about hating someone but missing them at the same time is so true. I can relate on a different level when it comes to adoption. Like I resented my mother for giving me away but at the same time I of course love her because shes my mother and we have a relationship now but yeah feelings like that are so hard man. Great reaction as always! I love when you crack up hahaha
