I mean the layering of power and explaining minor events to boost up the image of a character's power is probably the only thing Bleach does better than most other manga/anime out there. Author will never stop doing it because it makes his constant power scaling in the story more bearable than other manga/anime that get called out for trying to do scaling unsuccessfully. Also the theory about Kenpachi is pretty close. Essentially his name is Kenpachi Zarachii but since Unohana did not die she did not really pass on the "name" Kenpachi and your Zanpakto is your sould so it is tied to who you are as a person. Since Zarachii literally could not be who he actually is until he defeated Unohana he could not talk to his Zonpakto.

Not sure if it was like this in the manga but was one hell of a payoff of all those times we laughed at the captains being scared of unohana and that one Arrancar straight up refusing to fight her in hueco Mundo. Well now we know, she made a name by merc'in people. For those giving you the "well Aktually" in a non-helpful way. There aint no way they remembered everything on first watch/read.

This was mentioned around the time of Yoruichi's fight with Soi Fon so don't worry if you can't remember lol. It was also mentioned when Toshiro went to train with his squad after losing his bankai. He said "Please reteach me Zanjutsu" to his instructor -Kenpachi: I think you got a little confused on this. Kenpachi is the title given to the best fighter in the soul society. Zaraki named himself "Zaraki Kenpachi" when he met Yachiru because of the meaning, and the fact that he was born in "Zaraki" the 80th and poorest district in the Rukon district, the section of Soul Society outside the Sereitei (this was mentioned in his backstory with Yachiru back in the Soul Society arc). So he named himself "best sword fighter in Soul Society from Zaraki", imagine how crazy that is! Imagine being a boxer and legally changing your name to "World Champion" and then earning that title. -Yachiru: As you know, it's Unohana's first name and Yachiru Kusajishi's (Kenpachi's liutenant) first name. In his backstory, Kenpachi name's Yachiru "after the person I admire most" which is Unohana. So now you know the connection. Kusajishi is the 79th and second poorest district of the Rukon (I think that's where he found her). Just some thoughts: I've loved how much you talk from episode 1 so don't worry about it at all. It's crazy how accurate your theories can be, and the way you make connections on the first watch is insane. Watching you gush and yap about every little thing is a joy. I always watch until you say "cheers" and I enjoy every minute before that point. Keep doing what you do and be proud of it. Keep it up man

2024-05-02 12:14:11 +0000 UTCGood 2 eps! Comments: 1. Sasakibe, who stabbed Yuha, was not from Gotei13, but only Yamamoto's Lt; 2. Unohana moved from squad 11 (and, appearantly, gave up the kenpachi title) after the first fight with Zaraki, as she thought she was not worthy of that title, but Zaraki didn't get the title back then, as he lost the fight in the end (putting the limiters on himself) - he got the title after he killed the squad 11 captain (the kenpachi at that time) and took his place as the new captain, you know - after Zaraki fought for the first time Ikaku :)
