Korean / Japanese Language Learning?
Added 2024-03-19 13:10:43 +0000 UTCHey guys!
This is a preeeeetty random question that may seem it's coming out of nowhere but this has been on my mind and off it so much for so long and I've been wanting to ask for a while BUT-
I'm kind of just wanting to see if anyone would be interested in any way, shape, or form in say Korean / Japanese language learning content?
This is a pretty vague ask but, as you (likely?) know, I speak both, and I really try to do everything I can possible to keep my languages "in tact" (lmao). That said though, I also want to study them even further because despite the misconception, once you're "fluent" or "conversational", it never stops haha.
One thing I've thought about for ages is this idea of even just doing a livestream or something once a week or every other week where we just "learn stuff together" and then post the video here. This would help me share what I know with you, especially if you happen to never have time to study / motivation / resources etc., and at the same time it'd at least motivate me to explore more of the things I had stopped at quite a while ago.
I don't know - i'm not like a licensed teacher and never will be so it'd really just be like a community-based language journey together lmao as we document it etc., but idk I had the idea and wanted to throw it around. It'd also be cool because you guys could ask me questions in Patreon comments or we could have a language group chat in Patreon~ there's heaps of cool things we could do.
I taught you guys hangeul (Korean alphabet) and pronunciation of the vowels etc back on the old Patreon and that had a cool response, so I was just cuuuurious.
Schedule wise etc., I'm honestly working on arranging / cutting back to be able to include more things like this because on my "off time", this is stuff I used to do: study. I just never allow myself that time these days, and thought instead we might be able to make it more fun like this.
Anyway!
I say Korean / Japanese just in case people are interested in one or the other and / or both! I studied both at the same time and will continue to lmao, so let me know what you guys think!

2024-03-23 05:55:42 +0000 UTCI would love it I have been trying to learn Korean on my own and I am not getting very far with it. Sentence structure honorifics basic subtleties of the language are missed using books or apps.
