They’re the traditional romance kindled in the midst of shit hitting the fan… also, Linda Hamilton is just perfection as an actress. Also, before I decided to go into Law, I was studying Geology at the University of New Mexico. I wanted to be a volcanologist, but you have to essentially get your doctorate… and being a volcanologist doesn’t allow one to purchase a Bentley Continental. - - so volcano romance. I was sold. Not like the completely unrealistic fun mess Volcano with Tommy Lee Jones and the late Anne H. Was …. **** Also, Palm Springs 2020, is a top runner for new romance favorites. It’s alongside Silver Linings Playbook 2012. But more chaotic. Also, I lived in Palm Springs from 2019- earlier this year. Came back to the oilfield to prepare for law school. But Southern Cali holds a special place in my heart. And finally, Dolores Claiborne 1994/5 - Kathy Bates and Jennifer Jason Leigh in arguably their best performances to date. It’s a Masterclass in acting. It’s also, Kings favorite film adaptation and wrote the novel of the same name , with Bates in mind. - - it’s a heavy emotionally draining film. Each character brings their A Game, the cinematography is perfect, the writing, the score is by Danny Elfman. - - Alright! Hope yall are enjoying the weekend.
