In reference to this film and any other Hitchcock films you may watch. Hitchcock always makes a brief cameo in all his films. In this one, Hitchcock is standing just outside the office when Marion’s boss and that guy with $40k walks in. Speaking of the $40k. In today’s money it’s equivalent to about $400k. Another bit of trivia. This was the very first film that showed a toilet. That’s right. Up until then it wasn’t considered appropriate to show one. You may already know this. The actress that played Marian is Janet Leigh. She is the mother of Jamie Lee Curtis. Ironically, Jamie played the lead in Halloween. Mother and daughter. The original Scream Queens.
