Fuckable Mushrooms

- like actual mushrooms, they live kinda all over the place. mostly in warmer and humid places, but they do seem to have a central hub underground
- they don't really have their own culture or language, instead mimicking and assimilating things from the other races they live around
- on that same note, mimicry and assimilation seems to be their main means of evolving and growing as a race. older depictions of them look less humanoid, but over time began looking more and more like the other humanoid races
- this is more than likely due to how they reproduce. all sporin are hermaphroditic but can incorporate genetic data from any partner. its hypothesized that they began settling on a more feminine form overall since its so much easier to get genetic material from males
- since they are hermaphroditic, they all have a sort of pseudo-penis that can pop out and scoop out some genetic material if the situation calls for it
- the rest of their internal anatomy is a bit strange as well. since they are essentially fungus, they dont really have internal organs or bones. its mostly just flesh on the inside, aside from a single tube that connects all three orifices. the inner tube is lined with a sort of mycelium network that absorbs nutrients from foods and also takes in the genetic materials deposited within.
- how they actually reproduce after mating is a bit of a mystery and hasnt been properly observed
- aside from assimilating physical features of races they mate with (halin ears and tail, thick midin forearms and legs), the offspring also seem to gain knowledge from their partners. this makes them incredibly dangerous for humans to mate with, as knowledge of modern technology and weapons could be disastrous
- because of all these strange traits, its hypothosized that the sporin are a kind of manufactured bio-weapon, meant to invade, grow, and overtake enemy populations
and sorry its been a month! Armored Core 6 and other thing ate up my life for a bit

A more dangerous and slightly sinister entry of a potentially invasive species. Loving the variety as always and the potential risk factors in a human deciding the cream mushroompie and create Sporins with knowledge of heavy weaponry, arms, and world domination.
