December Updates, New Years Plans.

Hey, all. Now that the New Year’s upon us soon (might already be there for some of my European supporters), I just wanna say my thanks all things considered, and say some things for 2021.

First, an apology. I can’t be sorry enough for how low my input the last few months were. A mix of moving troubles, depression, and most recently, a new job has made my scheduling a bit murky. However, now that my current living situation is (for now) set in stone, and my current job is stable in terms of scheduling and probably won’t be at risk (blessed night shifts, but I can’t draw for some reason during dead hours), I can only hope that 2021 will be more stable and consistent when it comes to art.

Secondly, stuff to do. I have plenty of commissions to catch up on that I wish to prioritize on. I’m already behind due to the things mentioned above, and there’s a reason why I’ve had commissions closed since July, and why I won’t be able to deliver on Patreon polls and the such for the time being. I’ll be focusing entirely on Patreon works and the such after this bulk of commissions is completed, so I beg of you guys to be patient with me while I work through this. Also, some of the commissions I’ve been assigned to are quite juicy and nice, so don’t be too afraid. I can’t wait to get to them.

Third, a word of thanks. I cannot thank all of you guys, regardless of how much you supported me every month, for being here for me, participating in every monthly poll, and posting your friendly comments and words of encouragement in every WIP and post I make. You guys mean the world to me, and it’s thanks to your support and kind words that I feel some value as an artist. Being an artist is hard. Artist’s block and depression is an absolute pitfall to deal with, but both you guys here on Patreon and Twitter are so supportive of me and so patient that I can’t help but to feel blessed. To say that you guys have been a vital reason to keep me moving as an artist cannot be understated.

Fourth, future plans. My current laptop PC’s trash, admittedly speaking. The trackpad’s completely gone kaput, the laptop battery itself is pretty much dead, and it crashes and shuts off randomly whenever I look at it funny. All it is at this point is a machine on heavy life support. If you have been following my Twitter account (if you do, I’m so sorry), you guys should know that I’m finally taking the steps to build an actually decent PC! I have pretry much the majority of parts purchased; I just need a GPU and a CPU. I just hope that my craptop microwave computer can survive until then.

I’m also planning on getting a new Wacom tablet, specifically one with the display screens, because my current tablet’s also not in the best shape, being all scratched up and the pen’s missing the buttons on the side. Once all of that’s done, I can actually hold proper livestreams and screen recordings of my WIPs and illustrations! I tried streaming on Twitch in 2019, but couldn’t do it for the time period I wanted because otherwise my PC would just shut off.

Anyways, I’m sure that’s enough reading for all of you guys. 2020’s been miserable, but you guys have kept it managable and cool. Thanks. Here’s to 2021 being better, and I’ll totally work on drawing more asses and boobs in 2021. That’s a damned promise.
