Added 2019-07-18 18:44:17 +0000 UTCIf you haven’t heard by now, an arsonist committed a horrible act and ended up burning down the studios for Kyoto Animation, killing several people.
It’s currently the largest massacre in Japanese history following World War II.
While I’m not overly intimate with the studio, some of it’s works, namely Violet Evergarden, has done much to impact me as a person.
With that being said, out of respects for the studio, I’ll be drawing some Violet Evergarden art.
I know this is a rather dark topic to talk about like this here, but considering the impact the studio has, ranging from it’s treatment of workers, high quality of animation, and even higher standards for source material, I feel like some form of tribute is necessary.
