Originally I think this was intended to become an animation depicting some version of a 'first time' for Denni and Loup (I tend to imagine this various ways and haven't settled on a 100% canon version of how that went down, lol).
Basically I was thinking Denni hadn't seen Loup shapeshift during sex yet and Loup had been trying to repress her transformation a bit, especially in that area, because she was worried Denni might find it weird. Also I'm amused at the thought that Denni wouldn't know what the knot is especially, lol
